TWISTER

[RAGNAR]

A twister set down inside the Northeast perimeter of camp last night just prior to nightfall. It traveled westerly through camp destroying forty-three living wagons, eight freighters, and heavilly damaging at least a hundred more.

The wounded and injured are being tended and cleanup will begin at first light.

Tornado hit camp last night... Triage has been set up in the commissary area, well just outside of it since the medical freight wagon caught fire and by the time anyone could get to it, it was a lost cause... So anything we had in there for inventory is gone, all we have left is what is in our healer bags, or med kits around camp, and supplies that are in the medical wagon itself... the Medical Wagon has been moved out of the way during the fire...

A side note to all healers and healing slaves, boots should be used at all times as there is glass and debris all over the immediate area around the triage area, until the sun rises in the morning, there is no way to really clean the camp up until such time... Even with boots on, caution is urged as there are many boards splintered from wagons that exploded from the tornado, and there are some really long nails in those boards...

Everything we had in the medical freight wagon is gone, as it caught fire this evening after a tornado ripped through camp from the east to west... By the time anyone could get to it, it was a lost cause... The only supplies left are those that were brought into the medical wagon for the making of salves, slave wine, and medications... We need to go through what is in the medical wagon to see exactly what all was lost...

All wounded have been moved into the medical wagon after it was thoroughly checked to make sure that no burning embers from the medical freight wagon landed on the adjacent hide roof of the medical or surgical wagons or if there was any wind damage to either wagon... Through the night following the tornado, there were many who were being brought in from the eastern outer edges of the inner circle wagons who had been wounded as they were near the path of the tornado... Healers were working all through the night and day either tending to minor wounds or performing surgery on those more seriously wounded...

Started to do inventory in the medical wagon, once I finish with this wagon I will go on to the surgical wagon and do an inventory there... So far this is what I have found... I will also be checking all medical kits in camp as well, to see what needs to be replaced, if possible...

**8 jars of agrimony and bergament salve that had to be tossed out as they had gone bad, the jars have been cleaned of the bad salve, but still need to be sterilized to be used for something else, also there was no date or markings of what the salve was**

6 jars of agrimony salve (no date or markings of contents now marked with a AS on the lid)
5 1/2 jars of bergament salve (no date or markings of contents now marked with a BS on the lid)
150 bottles of IV solution
150 pre-cut tubing for IVs
350 IV needles
