Erumm....Help?

-lol-  ohlord.  I don't often say that I need help in things but I am now.  In bad need of it.  And this is the easiest way I know of to find it. 

I had started a couple of weeks ago making a character to bring into MTC.  My main source of help poofed.  Rags.  And I understand that totally..  I'm just getting impatient wanting to interact but I'm stuck.  -lol-  Those that know me know that's something I seldom am.  So here I go before I ramble on..


I had been asked what type of character I wished.. And had decided on one that was Tuchuk born..  Have the name, ava.....Manymany thanks to the wonderful Sarant for the oh so beautiful ava I get to wear  -grins-.... and the start of a character sheet.  That will remain a work in progress I think for a little while, not too long though, I hate not having one.  -lol-  So any help on that I can get would be wonderful too.

I guess where I should start is coming into the room to get to know things.  Since I wish to be Tuchuk born, I guess I sorta need to know how to start the posting..  I don't want to come into the room and make a mistake like coming in from the outskirts and confuse everyone else and myself..  At times I confuse myself enough. 

Once I get the hang of this I promise I won't ramble nearly as much.  -lol-  I just dont' quite know where to start.. 

Okay I think that's it for now..  I've never played in Gor before so I will be full of questions.

Well... Here's a staring point for you...

Like Sarant who was Tuchuk born, you may have had a Wagon in the Outer Wagons (these wagons are still part of Tuchuk, but not of the main "player characters" wagons where most of us roleplay).  SO coming into camp from the OUter Wagons is probably your best bet.  Where are your parents?  Did they die in the last raid or during migration?  Are you just starting out as a Woman (18 years of age or around there) on her own for the first time?  Since you are good friends with Sarant behind the screen, perhaps your characters knew each other while in the Outer Wagons and you've come to visit her, and then one thing leads to another and you move your wagon into the Inner Wagons?  Like you, I started with absolutely no information of Gor beyond what Rags had told me (which was very little at the time), it's a learning experience, and all of us ICly and OOCly will work with you.

Believe me Wapike, I am reading the pages as well.  it's slow going for me since some of the terms are odd and am sorting out.  -smiles-I don't think I never stop learning and I know I'm going to be rather full of questions.  -lol-


Thank you Amber.  See that's something that I hadn't gotten to yet on the pages or maybe it's just something that is known from rp..  about the Outer Wagons as opposed to the ones that are played in mostly.  I'm sure that I'll figure it out....with a lot of help...  and thank you for what's been given so far.
