New Apprentices - First Aid and Triage Training
« on: May 16, 2014, 10:54:51 AM »
As posted beside the Medwagon door:

There were 239 Orphaned Daughters who were tall enough to be sent to the Medwagon the other night.

Out of the 239:

40 were already trained by their Mothers in first-aid and triage procedures when wounded come in, and they have no wish to become Apprentices to the Healer's Clan - whether due to traumatic experiences during the War, or it is just not something they wish to do.  These girls have already been released to find the Clan they would enjoy the most or already have talents for.

Another 60 were already trained by their Mothers in first-aid and triage procedures but have the natural talent and desire to become full fledged Healers.  These girls will assist in teaching the other 139 girls on how to provide first-aid and triage with the supervision of a Healer or Healers depending on how things go.  These 60 girls will also be split up into groups and they will be placed in "training hours" on the duty roster.  There will be five groups of 12 girls each and on a rotation.  This will leave us with plenty of Healers watching them and training them, without the majority of us overwhelmed with a large gaggle of girls following us around at all times.

The 139 girls that will be going through first-aid and triage training will be assessed for the possibility of going into further training, or released from that point to find their own Clan that satisfies them.  We are by no means forcing them into the Clan.

That is all.
