Those unforgettable Mistresses

love inevitably changes a woman. every woman. while not a requisite for a companionship, it surely must enter into some.

is it dangerous for a Free Woman to fall in love? does it weaken or strengthen her? how?

she hopes some are willing to share their thoughts (from experience or book knowledge)

respectfully,

...A FW falling in love is one of the worst things that can happen to her.  In the books she would usually end up in a collar, although there is a tale of a Panther who went with an outlaw as a Companion.  *S*  That is what happened to Izee'/Medi...she was very afraid of FM.  She loved being free, and being a Panther...and then a FM appeared...Marcus Hrolfson.  He seduced her...she fell in love...and went with him to Scagnar.  *S*  He then didn't collar her...He had her bear his children...a fate worse than a collar...*G*
