Much Rumblings
« on: April 24, 2007, 05:40:13 PM »
I shall not be online tomorrow (wednesday) as we are expecting MAJOR weather all day tomorrow. I just pulled up the hour by hour on weather.com and OY!!! as of 1am tonight I'm at a 50% chance or better for precipitation and lightning storms. So yeah.. with lightning, I'm not even turning my puter on. It's supposed to clear up POSSIBLY on thursday, but more likely on friday. So, if I'm not around, that's why.

As to why I haven't been around, well, the folks were here, so chatting was impossible during that time, and then Hubby had to go back to his ship this last friday, so the last week we spent as much time together as possible, and over the weekend, my mood hasn't exactly been very sociable. I never am right after he leaves. He'll be back in July... hopefully in time for me to go to the Gathering, but we shall see.

PS: I HIGHLY reccommend seeing Ghost Rider and Wild Hogs... we left kiddo with our babysitter and went and saw a couple movies before he left.

Kitya.......remember, there is a 50% chance that you WON'T have the lightening and rain.

And yes, I saw Wild Hogs with my daughter during Easter Break, it was hilarious, or at least we thought so.
Dreams are born in the heart and mind, and only there can they ever die...unless someone else stomps on them

*wrygrin* You wouldn't say that if you've seen the doplar for my area. You know the big storms that hit Kansas and everything today? yeah.. that's heading straight for me. yaay!! break out the candles! *laffs* I actually love thunderstorms so I'm looking forward to it.. it'll be interesting to see how kiddo does. The only down side to all of it, is that sometime tomorrow I have to go out to give medicine to one of my dogs. She either partially tore, or pulled (thinking pulled) her ACL on one of her hind legs. She can put weight on it now, but today I spent 10 min coaxing her out of the crawlspace to get her medicine. I don't really want to do that in the rain! *laffs* When she's been in there for a bit, I think her knee locks up a bit cuz I could hear her whining as I was calling her. Once she moves around she's a lot better.

Thanks for the incoming storms, Sis... they are headed this way after they pass you... though I am not that bad with thunderstorms as I used to be, I just have to go get candles before the storm really kicks in... this damn place now has 8 window a/c's running almost 24/7 and there are 6 more being put in tomorrow or I should say later today... I am thankful for it, as the room gets extremely hot during the day... but in the end, we are probably going to have tons of breakers going out, meaning we might be without power for a time...

Old place, been around since the early 1950's, and it's just now getting it's much needed renovations by the people who live here, for the price of slave labor... ~snorts~ not complaining all that much, 200/wk, plus phone calls, though we don't pay for electric, gas, water, sewer or trash... makes things so much easier...

Take care Sis... love ya
