This Week's Gossip
For a change, Diego was still there when I woke up last Sunday morning in his bed. He was watching the Olympics on the TV set on the wall at the foot of his bed and we enjoyed them while eating breakfast in bed.
After a little completion of our own, Diego had Furio drop me off in Central Park just in time to meet Mary McGrath and Tammi Hanlin. Rachel never made it, but that's to be expected since Jon Bon Jovi is back in town.
During the week I posed wearing Vicki Jenkins' Elite Designs lingerie, along side Yvette and Vicki herself. It was sort of fun teasing each other regarding what we were wearing and what might need airbrushed out. The good news later in the week was that the magazines will be utilizing all of us in their September issues. We all make decent money and both Bobby and Vicki seem happy.
We've seen a lot more of Taryn Jade O'Connor this week in the Four Seasons, along with Yvette and Jason. No sign of that Richard Sawyer fellow though. Has he given up on dating Yvette or just biding his time?
Mary McGrath was there several evenings discussing their new novel with Carl Cameron. I can't wait to read their mutually written romance novel. Barbara Barton keeps pestering Mary for a peek at the draft, bur Mary flat out says, "No way, just wait."
On Saturday night Diego took me, Rachel and Jon over to New Jersey to watch the New York Jets face the Washington Redskins in a preseason football game. We're really New York Giants fans so we'll be back over there at the Meadows on Sunday to watch them host Cleveland, but seeing Brett Favre in his first game as a Jet was more than we could resist. Favre was the last player introduced before the game, and he was greeted by a standing ovation. He finished the game by giving Jets fans everything they were hoping for, completing 5 of 6 passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.
After the game Furio brought us back to the Four Seasons for a drink at the bar. It was pretty quiet because most people were at home watching the Olympics on television where Michael Phelps completed his record breaking swims. I was really impressed more with 41 year old Dara Torres amazing three silver medals. Dara has won 12 medals including 4 gold in her 5 Olympics since 1984.
Gino said that Brandy had dinner there with Bret Michaels while Carl Cameron spent the evening at the bar with Mary McGrath discussing their romantic novel. Just keeping you all aware of who's being seen with whom these days.
Entertainment
