Dear Diary,
It has been a while since opened this, finding it in the locked drawer of my desk in the study.

Last night I was sitting at the Four Seasons Supper Club bar with Lindsay Davis when a woman named Gina Reynolds arrived and Lindsay introduced us. Gina said she was glad to finally meet  the writer of my many romance novels, particularly the author of Central Park.

Lindsay advised me that Gina is a free lance photographer that sells her photos to the various newspapers and magazines operating out of New York City. Listening quietly as Lindsay and Gina chatted, I realized Gina is one of those paparazzi that roam the city and Lindsay must have hired her to try and track down her mystery man, Joe Black.

Katie Donovan arrived a bit later and joined us at the bar, She declined the Kendall-Jackson chardonnay Lindsay offered, but did ask Gino for a beer. According to Lindsay's column, Katie has been seen often dating Furio Giunta, Diego Farina's chauffer.

Carl Cameron waltzed in a bit later and joined us at the bar. He's the interesting man that's now my partner writing "In a New York City Minute". We agreed to head back to my apartment and work on editing the first 21 chapters of our romance novel.

I knew there was an interest between us, but since Carl was reeling a bit after the recent disaster with Barbara Barton, he hasn't asked me out on a real date, just a couple dinners to discuss the novel. Tonight might be a real test of our emotions since I like this man.

Things started out nicely as we read the first few chapters while we sipped a blush Zinfandel that I had opened. Carl's chapters were related to his history and in Chapter Five I broke the ice with some history of my own, titled Turning Eighteen. This was the first real sensual chapter of the book, describing how I lost my virginity. The living room seemed a bit hotter and Carl placed his copy on his lap, obviously covering up his physical reaction as I read out loud.

Things relaxed a little as he read his next chapter named "The Publisher" where he first met Bradley Barton. But my next chapter  called  "The Professor" was all about sex and my first year attending Gordon College. My professor soon became my lover and as I read the part about him introducing me to oral sex, Carl was really flushed. I knew he'd read the chapter before, but I guess hearing it directly from my lips was just more than he could deal with.

We decided that was enough, since it was getting late, and he rushed out leaving me there panting. I adjourned to my bed where I have to admit I was thinking about Carl, not my old professor, as I relieved myself with one of my favorite toys.

Opening my journal on Monday.

Dear Diary
It's been a very busy three weeks, beginning with that wild wine tasting night at Lindsay's place.  I should have spit out a lot of that wine we were tasting. That way I wouldn't have wound up too drunk to go home and sleeping in Lindsay's guest room.

Peter keeps asking me what Lindsay and I have been doing. I keep telling him to just read my book when it comes out. She's one very interesting woman, attractive, intelligent and sensual. I enjoy her company, day or night.

This Central Park Rapist is a scary situation. I'm following it closely since I might include something like that in my book. Hopefully they will catch him soon, but I've sort of enjoyed my situation regarding training for the New York City Marathon in Central Park. First, Lindsay's Silver Fox sends Gino Caruso to protect us. He looks mighty fine running bare-chested and I wouldn't mind him parking his shoes under my bed some day.

Last week Peter ran with me as my protector. We were both pretty hot and sweaty after running hard for over 5 miles. He walked me home since that rapist had followed Margaret Simmons to her apartment and he wanted to be sure I was safe. I invited him up for a glass of wine and rewarded him by letting him join me in the shower. I think that will make a nice chapter in my next book.

After returning to my flat after lunch at the Four Seasons with Peter, Lindsay, Rachel, Helen and Eva, I went up in the study in the loft and dug out my journal.

Peter and I agreed to meet at Lindsay's apartment tonight for a wine tasting around 10:00 pm. Peter said he might come over later, around 11:00. Lindsay plans to have a nice selection of wines ready and a platter of various cubed cheeses.

She'll also have a nice champagne sherbet to cleanse our palates between each wine.

It sure sounds like fun.
