The topic of OOC
« on: September 30, 2008, 05:01:13 PM »
There were a few things noted by me before today when it comes to OOC.  I understand the need to be OOC on occasion.  Things get hectic at work, home or at anytime in rt and you just want to come into camp because it is a home away from home, a place to get away from the tension, stress, and turmoil of our busy rt lives.  There are issues that need to be discussed about being in OOC.  OOC is just that, Out of Character, meaning you are not in character and should not be interacting with those that are IC, or in character trying to roleplay.  If you want to roleplay with that person, then just click Full Config and enter your codes and have at.  Another issue is that some come into camp OOC to just lounge about and be lazy because they don't feel like roleplaying are viewed as being lazy or what not.  Some folks have issues and permission.  BEFORE anyone goes flying off the handle, it is best to simply ask.

Rule of thumb, if you are in OOC, then keep your engagements in OOC and let those in character interact as they would without interference.  It's part of roleplay respect.  You would hate to have someone interefere in your roleplay if they were OOC.

If you have doubts about what it going on or are offended then simply ask someone to whisper them about what is going on.

No one has to get so beyond upset as to give up or leave.

Take some time, take a breath, and start a new day.

yes and thank You, Master
..you can not grasp it.
You can  only touch the  fire and be seared by it,  even destroyed  in it's embrace, but never can you hold it, not for a heartbeat.

The beauty and irony of common sense is that it is just not.
