This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday was all about the wild party at the Meadowlands where our New York Giants crushed the Seattle Seahawks 44 to 6. Having won all four games so far, we're leading the NFC East and look like a potential Super Bowl contender again. Part of the fun last Sunday was having suspended wide receiver, Plaxico Burress, in our suite because he wasn't allowed on the field. He is one big man when you're standing side by side. We laughed a lot and he did give me a pat on the ass a few times.

Next week Diego has invited me to go to Cleveland with him for the Monday Night Football game. His Cleveland Italian friends have a suite at the stadium and he jokingly promised me a "good time" while we're there. R. J. Papalardo is the head of the firm and we'll actually be staying at his Cleveland Heights home. These trips are always interesting and I can't wait to meet Russ Junior, a notorious poker player and his current mistress, Bobbi Cavalli.

Bobbi Cavalli actually has a part in the "The French Lady and the Hood" movie being filmed in New York City as Vito Gambino's mistress. Interesting, a real life mistress playing a whore in a movie!

I attended both the Monday and Wednesday night filmings where we got to see Yvette Beauvais as Genevieve DePaul and Scott Speedman as Michael Gambino in their initial meeting and follow up date. Although Yvette did manage to keep her clothes on, you can just see things coming. Michael did get his hand on her knee while a conducting a passionate kiss, but she managed to fend him off before he reached her panties.

It was interesting watching Jessica Alba as Silvia Napolia fret over not having the starring role. She did fine in her scene with Michael's mother, Anita Gambino, and it appears that she has some how talked the producer into giving Jason Todd Brody a part in the movie. My guess is she's hoping for a hot sex scene with Brody. My research also turned up a little known fact, Vicki Jenkins is apparently one of the producers for the movie. I'll wager Yvette doesn't know that.

Amy Bilson has informed me that they have a handsome new Professor of Journalism at Columbia University, one Clive Clawson. Clawson was hired away from Harvard up in Boston and Rachel Adams is in one of his classes. Rachel said that she saw Eve Everson entering Clawson's office as she was leaving. Rachel also said Ryan Morrison is back after a summer vacation at home and has asked her out for a dinner date. They began dating last year and she hopes this will turn out in a positive way. I've seen Ryan a few times, and he's a real hottie in my book.

Surprisingly, as Diego and I sat quietly in one of the remote corner booths, I saw Rachel Adams instead sitting at the bar chatting with what had to be the new Columbia professor, Clive Clawson. And yes, he was every bit as handsome and debonair as promised. They left together and as they passed nearby, I could hear her promising to bring two copies of her romance novel. Wonder what happened to her dinner date?

Also sitting at the bar out of listening range were Bobby Campbell and Vicki Jenkins, chatting away. There was no doubt in my mind that she was plotting more diabolical trouble for somebody, possibly my friend Yvette again. Judge Isabella DeSimone and Katie Donovan were both there for a bit, but didn't stay long. Bobby winked over at me on the way out with Vicki on his arm, no doubt taking her home to "play".

Furio picked us up out front and took us over to Diego's Manhattan brownstone where I spent the night. We'll be leaving tomorrow morning for Cleveland and the New York Giants Monday Night Football game. After wrapping up this column and faxing it in, I joined Diego in his bedroom for some fun of our own.

Entertainment
This Tuesday night, October 14th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be dark as Rachel continues to run her plays sporadically. She plans to stay closed until we're sure we can finish a ninety minute play uninterrupted.
