This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday I was up early and made it to Central Park in time for my morning run with Rachel, Tammi and Mary. Mary said she hasn't seen Carl Cameron for almost a month and  wonders if he's okay?  I told her I'd ask around.

The Nidda Head murder trial was pretty exciting. I sat in the back of the courthouse with Bridget Martin and watched and we were shocked as Carla broke down in tears on the witness stand and admitted she had no idea what time Charles got home that night. Her husband screamed obscenities at her from the defense table when she failed to provide the alibi as expected. Judge Gamble called for a recess to subdue the noisy crowd. Actually, the jury came back with a "Not Guilty" verdict simply because the prosecution couldn't prove Charles was there within the time frame of the murder. Did Charles really kill his mistress as most expect? We'll probably never know now. New York Life certainly still questioned the results because Charles was fired on Friday.

Finally, this coming Sunday our New York Giants will host the Philadelphia Eagles in our first NFL playoff game over at Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands. Skinny Joey Merlino and his mistress, Jenny, will be Diego's guests this weekend and the wagers are the same as a few weeks ago when The Eagles won. The winner between Diego and Joey gets to keep Jenny and me Sunday night which was a lot of fun last time. Jenny is cute and sexy, and Joey's not bad either. The game begins at 1:00 pm so we'll no doubt pick them up at the airport early Sunday morning.

I spent Saturday evening at the Four Seasons Supper Club bar as usual. Gino and Mia were behind the bar while Barbara Barton and Mary McGrath joined me at the bar. We were enjoying our favorite white wine, Kendall-Jackson chardonnay. The major subject, of course, was the recent trial where Charles Stiles barely escaped a guilty charge thanks primarily to Alan Shore's efforts. Frank arrived in time to make a few comments regarding the murder.

We were discussing the fact that nobody had seen Carl Cameron, the guy that's helping Mary with her latest novel here in New York City, when Diego called saying he was finally home and asked Gino to bring me over to Diego's Upper East Side brownstone. That gave me a chance to talk to Gino in private regarding Rachel's reactions last week. Gino sort of shrugged, saying they were close friends, but nothing out of line ever happened.

When we arrived,  Diego said he wanted Gino to spend the night too, since he would be tending  bar at the stadium luxury suite during the Giants game with the Eagles and  we needed an early  start in the morning to pick up his guests at the airport, Skinny Joey Merlino and his mistress, Jenny. I finished up this column on Diego's computer and faxed it in before joining him in the master bedroom.

Entertainment
This Tuesday night, January 13th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's self written play, Innocence. She's giving me the role of Lady Emma Blythe and I can't wait to read the script.
