Some good news...

After looking for real, full time work, I have finally found something!  I'm back to painting/doing maintenance for a local apartment complex.  It's entry level, and a step back from where I was, but this job actually cares about their employees.  They offer benefits (health care, dental, 401k), and first year employees get 12 PTO days that start accruing on your first day!  So suffice to say I'm excited.  I miss you all, and know you are loved.

Congratulations Master!.... One of my favorite quotes that keeps me going in hard times is "“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."  I think it was Coolidge who said this and it was above my desk in graduate school.  It kept me going then and has recently appeared above my desk at home now as a reminder.

I'm so very happy for you, all your hard work and persistence has finally paid off!
