Well, i have a job. After being disabled since 2003 and unable to work, they gave me a job working at home! my bosses work 4/10's, so keeping up with this is incredibly tiring. i generally have to spread out my time over the week and weekend to get a full 40 hours in, but i'm doing it! i also have 3 new roommates, my strays moved back home and the baby girl is still here. Trying to handle all of the changes and my mom's healthcare needs is quite a stretch for my limited energy.
That's why i've been scarce and with 3 grant deadlines coming up, i probably won't be around much for the next 3 weeks or so. i hate writing grants, but, i love having a job again, being useful...... so, it all balances out....

There is a huge job opportunity that just opened up. The chair of the board of directors offered me a huge position in this great company. They know i'm disabled, and are willing to work around the disability AND let me use this awesome house they have right across the street from the office so i don't have to drive..... That job will open up within the next few months and i'm working hard to figure out how i can work at a desk again.
Wish me luck!
