Without Cutler, the Bears still hold their own. However, Stafford is hot and is having the best season of his personal career.
Without Rodgers, the Packers pretty much floundered last week. Hopefully this week with a weeks worth of snaps under his belt Wallace will have a better showing. If nothing else... I hope someone got it through his thick skull, that if he has to take a sack... take it or try to step through the pocket to minimize the loss... not run backwards and get sacked anyway for huge losses. Their receivers are talented enough to help him out, and after a week adjusting they may do better. But they have to get the running game going as a fallback offense. Forget the long pass plays. Short screens and rb options would be the way to go. Get rid of the ball before he loses his protection.
The Steelers... well... they are my team. BLITZ BLITZ BLITZ!!! FS blitz... LB blitz... mix it up and keep the pressure on. DO NOT give the QB time to set. Using the combination blitzes will also plug the holes and shut down the run at the line of scrimmage. Watch their backs. The back will become a blocker against the blitz and it will become an option play. Force them to use timeouts trying to get a read on the defense.
