...Says a Prayer for all of our warriors...I had the Honor of receiving a flag when my Uncle was interned...The Honor Guard were very respectful, and I did cry as I took the flag. I did a nice eulogy. He had many friends who came, and my Husband invited everyone to a brunch...we talked about him, he was a WW2 Vet, and an Army Artillery Captain. His favorite tale was when he was in France, and went into a church, and heard a man ask what he was doing there...the man was his brother, a Marine in the Infantry...*S*...He earned many medals, I have them, they include the Bronze Star, and the Purple Star. I also have the medals of my other Uncles, and many other medals. After the 'Sullivan" tragedy, my father was stationed in Greenland...he was a Sergent. My father was the youngest of the six brothers who all enlisted when the War came...the Government did not want a family name to be wiped out. Two of the brothers did not survive...Charles, an aviator, and Guy, the Marine did not come back.
Let us all Honor the ones who died to protect us, and those who are alive and protect us from the wolves...
