love of life....

preservation of life on earth...

Here's to him, his work, his family, his crew, and all the animals he has saved, and his zoo continues to save...

a moment of silence for an incredible man with an incredible purporse, with an incredible end, leading to an incredible legacy.....

I actually thought of Mistress Kitria's borrowed "Crikey" as soon as I heard about Irwin's death.  My husband's online buddies from Australia were absolutely inconsolable.

I am still in denial about his death, he was such a profound person that brought the mysteries of the animal kingdom up close and personal and made you understand them a bit more... I will especially miss his times on Jay Leno, I don't think anyone could get those expressions that he got on his face when Steve would come onto the stage with some exotic animal and by the end of the his time there, you could almost see how saddened Jay was that it was over as he had just gotten into the animals quirks... he is missed, but his legacy will live on for many decades to come...
