the solution lies in finding a way to deal with it.

it must be dealt with.

tuchuks see dead bodies every day, it's just part and parcel.

and as a matter of fact, I've TAKEN many lives, and have in fact laughed at some, because some of them were Men....not just thralls.

the issue isnt death itself, because that is part of gor, we're not on earth....we dont have the ideals and feelings and norms of earth....we have gorean ideals, its rp....

the issue is how to deal with it......and if someone laughs, that is how they deal with it...if someone cries, that is how they deal with it, if someone gets angry, that's how they deal with it.....

it is not up to you on how other people deal with situations, it is up to you on how YOU deal with it.

the only control you have is your own actions....do what you see fit, and choose how you will or will not deal with it.

I find nothing offensive about laughing at death, I find it offensive if you run from it and fear it.

dead body in the water? yeah I'd probably laugh, probably wait to see some innards be dragged out stuck between toes. Why? because I'm that way, that's My right, just like it's anyone's right to react to it the way they see it, to how they feel about it.  No one has a right to judge, just a right to have an opinion.

eh oh well, NPC deaths happen.
worse things happen in other realms anyways, but I'll be damned if I have to walk on eggshells or sugar coat something because of someone else, others probably feel the same way.
