It looks like we will be able to hijack the neighbors' wi-fi sometimes, though only if a user with an unsecured wireless connection happens to be online when we need to check e-mail and the boards.  Needless to say, it's impossible to chat with such a slow and faulty connection, but at least we can drop messages here and there!

Skies willing, we will have Comcast cable, phone, and 'net on Friday.  The surveyor-dude came early, as Teggie predicted he would.  I should learn to believe his time frame predictions!

Well, we watched the van go past, and Ben suggested "convincing" the Comcast dude to show us the love; but Teg was serene and sure it was for us, all along. LOL
