This Week's Gossip
Last Saturday night I was home alone, sitting on my bed writing something for my weekly column, thinking about all the people I meet weekly.
Soul mate, two little words, one big concept. A belief that someone, some where, is holding the key to your heart and your dream house. All you have to do is find them. So, where is this person? And if you love someone and it didn’t work out, does it mean they weren’t your soul mate, were they just a runner up contestant in this game show called “Happily Ever After”? And, Soul mates …… reality or torture device.
Yes, I've watched relationships come and go here in New York City. I spent one night this week in the Four with Barbara Barton and Mary McGrath and Barb sure seems happy that her marriage is over. Seamus Clark was there sitting in his favorite corner booth alone so I went over to pester him a bit. It wasn't long before we were all over there, joking around. it's amazing how we can twist words into such humorous different meanings.
When that Frank guy that has been popping in there lately walked in, I excused myself and headed back to the bar to learn more about him. Although he seemed friendly enough, I didn't really learn much. Maybe he's taking lessons form Joe Black.

This Tuesday night, September 9th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be dark as Rachel continues to run her plays sporadically. We'll sit for a month until we're sure we can finish a ninety minute play uninterrupted.
