This Week's Gossip
After hosting the Washington Redskins in the Meadow Lands last week, beating them 16 to 7 in a thrilling encounter that I watched from Diego's luxury suite, our Giants travel to St Louis to face the Rams this Sunday. Since Diego was too busy dealing with the upcoming elections to take me to St Louis for the weekend, he had Furio pick me up at the Plaza Hotel and bring me over to his Upper East Side mansion on Saturday night so I would be there to watch the Giants Rams game with him in the morning.
Diego spent Saturday night grilling me on the events of the week, while I worked on my column. I had to teasingly smack his hands away a few times so I could finish and fax it in to my editor before I let him drag me off to bed.
The major event of the week was the conviction of Lance Zodic of all those terrible rapes and murders he committed. He wasn't saying he didn't kill them, he was claiming the Lord told him to remove these "professional sluts" from existence to purge New York City of them and scare off the rest. Nelle Porter, the New York City District Attorney, scoffed at his excuses and won one of the most convincing cases in her career. Of course, Denny Crane of Crane, Poole & Schmidt is already trying for an appeal.
I understand that Bobby Campbell had Ara Demetrious and Yvette Beauvais in his studio this week for a photo shoot for People magazine. They modeled clothing for Vicki Jenkins new Elite Designs as well as for Dior, Dolce & Cabana, Armani, Gucci and Prada. David Dewher was there with Ana and Jason Todd Brody came along with Yvette to watch. They must have enjoyed seeing their lady friends often in almost nothing while modeling Vicki's sensual lingerie.
The surprise, as I understand it, was Vicki bringing Richard Sawyer with her to try and cause more trouble between Yvette and Jason. If what I hear is true, we'll once again see Richard holding Yvette real close while she was modeling some skimpy, sexy, Elite Designs underwear while Jason will be seen snuggling with Ana. Hmmm?…. I sure see something strange there.

This Tuesday night, September 16th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be dark as Rachel continues to run her plays sporadically. We'll sit for a month until we're sure we can finish a ninety minute play uninterrupted.
