Lions look to avoid first 0-16 record in league history

Cornerback Travis Fisher said he won't fly back to Detroit from Green Bay if the Lions somehow manage to find a way to beat the Packers on Sunday. "If we win, I ain't catching the plane back home," he said with a laugh. "I'll walk back... “

The Detroit Lions will reduce or freeze prices for season tickets next season.
The team announced plans Friday to make eight percent of their 55,000 general-seating, season-ticket packages cheaper next season and to not raise prices for the rest.

The winless Lions will close the season Sunday at Green Bay, hoping to avoid being the NFL's first 0-16 team.

ya know..I know how the Lion's fans feel
I thought the Bengals would be sitting in this spot!

A couple more years like this for both the Lions and the Bengals and they may have to pay the fans to come to the games. *W*

All ribbing aside....

What I hate to see though.... is the Bengals do have some potential. Their draft slot will be advantageous and should at the very least split their win/loss record for the season more evenly.

But the Lions... omg... I actually cringe when I think of the poor bastard(s) that will get stuck with the Lions from the draft. Their careers could literally be finished before they even begin.
