Hey hey fred.  I did have a "SURPRISE" birthday party on Saturday night.  It was great.  In my heart of hearts I actually did think something was gonna happen, but I wasn't about to let on. No one said a word about it!  (Call it woman's intuition or instinct)
But hey, I didn't know for sure who would be there, so that was a surprise *nods lots* lol  The best surprise which I didn't expect was two of my daughters flew in for the Surprise 50th.  That totally took me by surprise.  I just saw them for the wedding, so I didn't think they would be there.  It was great.  Fun was had by all.  This was the BEST birthday yet
