 *going on an educational 'math' field trip today*

needs to collect my fund monies.

If I buy three (3) beers @ $2.25 each and the give the barkeep a 15% OFF coupon, what is my total bill.  (further problem: if the barkeep is in actually a beautiful 'big-starred'   *  *    barmaid? 
                      how much of a tip, do I leave her?

time one buys 'a round' for the bar {+$29.75} and my excellent barmaid's request for an old classic vehicle (luckily only a VW = rag top bug)
  ..... I seem to be running outta of monies. The fund is nearing depletion.

Maybe I should apply for a 'student loan'? or a federal grant for continual education.

Oh I love field trips fred....I have been on every field trip there was to go on with my daughters.  I can help solve this dilemna for YOU

Now fred....since when do bars give 15% off coupons? *looks over* *nudges ya* lol

I like to tip 20%, but then it depends on what kind of service you get?  AND I think you would get GOOD service with that barmaid.  She has such a lovely smile and looks very friendly    laughs

Okay here is where I will save you lots of money fred!  Listen up!  Buy her a match box car.  Just think how much you will save and you will not need to take out a student loan. 

Now if you like this advice, it will cost you!  *holds out my hand*

     The things we learn, by doing, are sometime better left unlearned?
For Forrest Gump: 'life is like a bowl of cherries', and for fred; to quote lennie bruce: 'life is like a sewer, you got outta of it what your put into it?'   My recent field trip only confirms lennie's quote, not gump's.


*turns again* and talks into the great white microphone.  ugggghhhh

the field trip math problem was unsolvable after about the 13th beer? My nice barmaid? somehow found my wallet irresistible and took it! (along with my pants?).  Last thing, I think I remember, was the officer giving me a towel?

kay.  Your excellent advice was a weekend short and a $ underfunded.  I have come to trust so completely in your smile,  I was mislead by a pretty smile and big starred barmaid.  I have learned that lesson will?

I quickly noticed, not a teenie, tiny ounce of compassion or understanding  re: "my recent field trip reflections".  Man,  I got all I deserved?   {the end}

Oh well, keeping a stiff upper lip and (files under lessons learned) and ~moves ON~.   

I can see I need a fulltime chaperon for my next field trip!  (kay, you need not apply......, you got the JOB! congraduations! )

so where you takin me next.  What field trip do you think I would like next?  Should I pack an overnite bag?  How many snacks should I consider taking?  Do I need a cooler or will you provide the cooler for the beer?  We will ...... need beer for the long bus ride to whatever, you are taking me? 

Oh......  also reminds me?    Will the bus be equipped with johns too?

AND yes the bus will be equipped to handle your intake and outtake fred.  You supply the snacks and I will bring the cooler.  One thing though, you are not allowed to say....are we there yet?  Got that?  lol
