Captain's Report
« on: March 20, 2009, 07:53:34 AM »
The city guards were summoned to an apparent bar fight.  Nothing unusual about a bar fight, nor that death was involved, but what was unusual was the fact that Tuchuks were involved.  This is out of season of migration for them so it warranted further investigation.

A fair haired woman was said to have been involved or the cause of said fight.  This also matches reports of another death two nights earlier by a fair haired woman.

A Tuchuk was found and taken into custody.  The woman remains at large and no other signs of Tuchuks have been found within the city.

The Tuchuk was "questioned" about the woman and if he had other companions around when he was sober enough to speak.  He must be a mute or resilient to questioning.  He will be questioned further by the hired "interogator" later this day and then tried for the aggravated deaths of 3 innocent tavern patrons.

Gate guards and wandering patrols have been doubled and reserve guards have been called for search and seizure of any Tuchuks that may be within the city walls still.  Those that have been found to harbor or help Tuchuks will also be taken in for questioning.

Riker, Captain of Turian Guards.

Captain's Report

The Celebration has started, this has brought a halt to our trial of the Tuchuk.  Doesnt much matter at this point as the man has uttered a word yet on his guilt.  Soon though, very soon he will confess to his crimes and we can then execute him.

The questioning session proved worthless as well as the Interogators attempt.  The man is either a mute or extremely used to pain.  If the latter is the case then he is foolish as a Torturer has been called for from one of the wagon peoples to ply his trade upon the Tuchuk.

City searches have also provided us with nothing about the fair haired Tuchuk woman.  The celebration also makes it difficult to complete the search.  For now, guards are set to patroling the streets and remain at the gates to inspect those that come.

We have increased the guards and there are three rotating shifts of 4 guards per level of the prison's dungeon.

This celebration couldnt have come at a worse time.

Captain's Report

We gave the Tuchuk enough time to heal and thought to try again.  We thought perhaps some time in the cell would loosen his tongue.  The City's Administrator wishes him alive long enough for the Torturer to arrive and question.

We informed him he was left alone.  None wold come for him, he was forgotten.  That Tuchuk would not risk trade with us during migration over one man.  That he might as well confess and give us the name of the woman.  He still would not speak.

It took us a few ahns but all he would give us is that wretched smile and no matter how many times he was questioned.  He finally must have grew tired and passed out or feinted.  He was carried to his cell and new padding was given to him for comfort.  All we can do now is await the Torturer.  We now have to focus on the celebrations.
