...Two great performers...*S*...surprised that they sat in the sun. Cellos and violins and violas are very tempermental, and can't handle direct sunshine...it affects the laquer...and the strings. When doing wedding gigs we would always find the shade. Once we couldn't find shade near the Altar, and sat away under an Oak tree. It dropped an acorn on the second violinist violin, and we moved, and set up in the sun...we figured that an hour in the sun would not hurt our instruments too bad...The Couples wedding vows included the phase..."You make me happier than 'Extansy" A really hard drug.
They did pay us well, and we got fed...They were in the banquet room of Yosemite Lodge, after we played more, we sat outside and were given nice fillets with baked potatoes, fixings, and a couple glasses of wine
