Sorry I haven't been around, and probably won't be for the next two days...

It's Kassia's fault.

She told me to read a book.. well the book is the first in a series.. and now I'm totally hooked into this series.

It's still her fault.

If anyone is looking for a good series to read, I suggest the Black Dagger Brotherhood books by J.R. Ward.  Just read the first one, it's terrific (caution: there is sex in it).  I can almost guarantee it will suck you in and you'll want to read more about this unique band of Vampires.

I've seen these when I've been in the bookstore before.  Never picked them up to get involved in them though.   They are that good?

OooOo likes Kelly Armstrong.. just finished Humans Not Involved..  and saw the new paperback out on Wed.

Another good one is Kim Harrison.. Witches, pixies, vampires, elves, demons and werewolves .. oh my -lol-

and not as much sex as say Laurell K Hamilton or Sherriyln Kenyon.

try listening to one of Laurell K's books on audio, the reader lets say just gets kind of into them... I feel like I shouldnt be listening to them at work -lol

*Is prolly one of the hugest anita blake fans on the planet*....yeah...I'm totally an anita blake chick....but unfortunately...I have gotten past the stage of reading for pleasure, unless another LKH book comes out...I envelop myself too much in reading when it comes to the vamp books...I'd disappear for weeks at a time, just because I was re-reading the whole series again...*LOL*...though...if someone knows where I could get my hands onto some online versions of JN's Gor series...I would LOVE to refresh myself, as it has been over 6 years since I have read any of them...*as I don't have access to copies anymore*.....

Stephen King. Was a fan till the collection I had was 'taken, and burned' at some ex-mom in law's house. because those and other books made me an "evil" person.

Love books. No time for them lately. So I'll stick to music, and writing.

if one enjoys mysteries, this girl would recommend any of the books written by the team of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.  'Still Life with Crows' kept this girl up all night.  the character of Agent Pendergast reminds this girl of several of the Masters here.  His search for perfection in everything he does is quite impressive.
