First things first, don't anyone have a heart attack at seeing this name.  Yes, it is me ... I've been gone for a long time but I just found out about this and wanted to leave a quick note.

To Rags,

We didn't exactly part on good terms but sometimes real life forces us to look at things differently.  My own health has had it's ups and downs over the years, including some of what you've been having.  I haven't read through all 18 pages to see all of the details, but it has clearly been a struggle and a fight.  Keep fighting.  Keep struggling.  If you need it, draw back on the level of hate you and I once had for each other and use it for strength.  However you find the strength to push on, do so.  Believe me, I speak from experience when i say it does get better.

To woobie,

I don't need to tell you that the biggest reason for Scott to keep fighting is for you.  The two of you have been part of each other for so long that I doubt either of you knows how to think any differently.  I'm sorry that you had to go through finding him that way when this first started, but again, I speak from experience here.  He would not have wanted it to be anyone else.  As much as it hurt you to see him in that condition, I can say that it is because of his trust in you that, when he was at his weakest, he was able to let others do what he was not able to do for himself.  I'm glad you got to spend the downtime with your family, hopefully it helped to recharge your batteries a little bit.

May health continue to return and improve.  Whether it happens quickly or slowly is not as important as that it happens strongly.

Hmmm, very strange.  This was supposed to be as a response to the other thread ... not sure how it managed to separate itself but here it is.  If someone wants to move and connect it great, if you want to leave it as another thread, that works too.

Hesprit..

I thank you for your words of encouragement and strength. I passed them on to Scott and he smiled his soft smile and said he had let go of that anger long ago, but he too thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.

May your health remain strong as well, and know that You too are blessed.

love, woobie

woobie,

Sorry I had missed seeing you responded here.

Thanks for your comments.  Health is always an issue with ups and downs, but we just keep going and doing the best we can.  As for the past, well, time continues to move forward.  We can either move with it or struggle against it, and it seems to me there are more than enough struggles without choosing more than we need to.  I'm glad to read (on the other thread) about Scott's improvements and hope they continue.

My thanks Tony. *S*

The past is the past and as you say, we all move firward or we fight an unwinable battle against it. May we both look forward to a brighter and healthier future.

Scott,

You are certainly welcome and even more congratulations on being home and on the mend.  Brighter and healthier sounds good to me!  LOL

On a more personal note, if there are any questions or anything, especially about dealing with the dialysis and it's joyous list of new, fun challenges, hit me up in PM and I'll see what I can offer.  I think I finally have my settings updated so I will receive notifications now ... funny how much an accurate email address helps!  LOL

Take it easy as you get back into things, it will make it that much more enjoyable!

Tony
