My Sudden Disappearing Act
« on: October 19, 2013, 01:02:42 AM »
As some of you know, there was a death in our roommate's family the funeral was this morning and both Ray and Caleb were going to drive to the location near Duluth, MN early this morning. Well things did not go as planned. Seems Caleb's truck has decided it's not happy and the transmission is popping out of gear in 3rd and 4th gear, which is freeway speeds. Needless to say, they didn't make it to the funeral and so today we have been trying to keep his mind off that fact, as we have been doing since he learned of his aunt's death earlier this week.

The next fun part has been with me. For the past couple of days I have been dealing with health issues that quite nearly landed my ass in deep doo doo for not letting the medic of the house know what was going on, though now he's aware and has been watching me like a hawk, at least during his waking hours. -snickers- I got to learn all the fun stuff he carries around in his medical kit, got some ideas from it as well for the room, but will discuss that at a later time. For the time being, I am doing better, just taking it easy and not stressing out too much, though with the news I got tonight, I don't think stress will be a factor for very long.

I am now working at home doing data entry. Though I am only making about $5/hr, it's better than nothing and if our marriage license can be sent here in the next month, I will be able to get my state id to read my married name and not my maiden name. -RME at stupid rules and laws in this state- This will allow me to get another job that I have been unable to get due to my ID and social security card last names not matching. Though with this data entry job, I am looking at making more an hour as I get back up to speed, which might also help with my typing skills in rp along with it

And now we are fighting the cable company with nearly daily outages in our area. We are seriously thinking about switching to DSL if this keeps up, plus the fact they are about to up the cost yet again! -growls- So if I suddenly poof, it's due to another outage, it may last 5 minutes or as it did today, nearly 18 hours. Thanks to this, I have lost money from my new job, which is part of the reason we are thinking of switching.

And my absence this past week or so is because I am dealing with health issues that just won't leave me alone and it's not because of the weather, I wish it was, but other things going on. In fact, I am on my way to sleep, thanks to a migraine that has also been plaguing me for the past couple of days, but am hoping that with the possibility of enough sleep that might cause the kill switch to engage and give me some relief. I had hopes of coming in tonight, but things just didn't go that way, though I hope to change that tomorrow, it all depends on a few factors.

Love you my family, take care of one another, please
