several hundred pairs of one size fits all sandals have been placed along the wagon platform and on the ground surrounding the main Cobbler Clan wagon.
these are simple flat soled with leather strapping extending from the sole where leather cords lace through the straps to tighten them to fit snug. the heel of the sole may be trimmed off to fit.
these are constructed of top grade leather but are multi-colored as remnants were used in their construction to cut down on wagon weight during migration.
all slaves should see to it their old sandals are in good condition. if naught... get a pair. all camp slaves will have good sandals!!! privately owned slaves should check with their owners if possible to secure footwear. if such is naught possible get a pair and consider it a gift from RAGNAR.
all free should also replace their footwear prior to migration. stock for the free is within the huge main Cobbler Clan wagon. there will be no custom footwear orders filled at this time. off the rack is all that is available. no coin will be accepted for footwear at this time. barter and trade is preferred. if you are poor and have nothing to barter and trade, see the Clan Elder and arrangements will be made for what you need.
migration will be hard... and even harder on the feet!!!
the Clan will make last simple last minute repairs to all existing footwear. if such are needed... see the Cobblers as soon as possible!!!
