The professional warrior's drakkars are anchored off the shore under guard, owned by myself.
Two Busse class, one Skeid class, one Snekkja class, and one Karvi class.
I have been told to expect other ships arriving anytime now to continue assembling for this venture.
Several Karvi class ships have signaled their approach from a distance. I believe them to be smaller groups joining us, fishing vessels, or simply scout ships that will accompany the main fleet. We will know when they present themselves.
Numbers are growing on the mainland seeking berths on the arriving ships. It seems many are up to exploring what lies ahead and possibly a new world.
I have no doubt many ships will be pressed into service to handle duties they were not actually designed for, but will be able to make the journey. Once we make land on some distant shore and settle in, ships can be purpose built.
I expect our new Queen to arrive before long, along with those travelling with her. I imagine her presence will draw others as well.
Until then, continue amassing supplies, acquiring ships... especially some good cargo ships. These will be needed.
Knarrs class, the cargo ships, will be needed to transport the bulk of our stock and farming essentials. With a capacity of 24 tons plus 20 crewman, they are good sturdy ships.
Keep a sharp eye out for Faerings, our rowboats moving to and from shore with people and smaller goods.
It seems that so far no attempt to stop us is being made. Be prepared just in case. I believe this to be too easy.
