Where are we with conditions?

Still a bit muddy and some cleanup and repairs to finish.

Back to extremely hot and sunny.

it rained last night

It rained steady until just after dawn. It cleared for a time and midday showers came down once again. By mid afternoon it was once again suuny with a slight reprieve from the heat we have had as of late.


Currenty there is sunshine with temps in the high 80's.

A gentle breeze blows West to East.

The ground did well in absorbing the rainfall. Only the heaviest used paths are muddy within the camp.

It began to lightly rain a few hours after dark. It managed to rain steady all night and ceased just before dawn.

It will be overcast until midday when it clears.

Then back to hot weather.

In general.... beautiful.


90's during the days and mid 70's to 80's at night.

Constant breeze (ore or less)

: The damp chill in the air is a prelude to what is to come. Just before daylight, a gentle rain begins to fall and will continue throughout the day. The aor remains chilly and the season of change is slowly creeping up on the Southern Plains.

Seasons are changing. The nights are growing colder and the days are chilly. By earth measures it boils down to mid 30's to mid 40's at night... some nights there is now frost.

Days are mid 50's +-. The grasses are green and still fit for grazing, though they are not quite as lush as they once were nor are they growing as quickly to replace what has been grazed.

Dung collection has to be in full swing and drying is very important now. Stock up!

Days are normally in the 40's.
Nights get downright chilling.

Occasional snow flurries. Nothing yet accumulating.
