tneded the wound on Master Haldir's stomach...it is healing well and I released Him from the Med Wagon, though He is still restricted from duty until the stitches come out and He is cleared by a Healer

Today I had noticed Casca was uncomfortable and in pain.  When asked what was wrong, We went into the Med Wagon where He showed Me an injury He'd said happened the day before.  There was a large bruise down His back and side and He had been coughing.  I had Him lay down and He began to shiver so, after checking for a temperature, I covered Him with a blanket and listened to His lungs...Clear throughout except the base of the injured side where breath sounds were absent. I did My best to make Him comfortable.  If Muse or one of the Healers could see to Him, I'd feel much better

Thanks

*makes note to check on Casca in the morning as I add My entries for the day*

I checked over Coreign Who was complaining of headaches and fatigue....and normally has body chills and is never warm.....I suggest chamomile tea or warmed milk before bed as a natural seditive to help Her rest easier. I also found out She has been using kanda to deal with the headaches.....this could be a large part of the problem....espcially as withdrawl symptoms get worse...I stress that a close eye be kept on Her...and if sysmptoms get any worse...or She starts to do wierd things....She will have to be confined to the Med wagon until the withdrawl symtoms have been dealt with.

*posted for Mistress Giselle*

Mistress treated kadi last night....she had been having headaches and dizziness ever since she pounced the whipping post.....Mistress realigned the vertbrae in her neck, which had become compressed and applied a mud pack to it to reduce swelling....kadi is still in the Med Wagon and should be re-evaluated today.

when kadi awoke this morning she was still seeing two of everything...looks like she will be a "guest" of the medical staff today...I gave her a basket of bandages to roll with strick orders she is to rest when the staff telles her too...I don't know if Mistress has retricted her movements to lying flat of not

Thank you so much for posting for Me kels   'soft smiles'

Vincus has 4 deep gashes on His shoulder and upper arm.   They are stitched and bandaged and He is resting in the Med Wagon.  He suffered a lil blood loss but nothing rest won't help.

As per kels post - kadi is to rest, she can sit up in the cot, as long as she is not dizzy, but she should rest flat as much as possible and no leaving the med wagon until she only sees one of everything  'soft smiles'

Master Vincus developed a fever and in His thrashing ripped open the wounds...I did find a pocket of infection in one and drained it...restitched the wounds, leaving the end of the one that was infected open for further draining if necessary...administered valeerian to clam Him down and ease the pain....gave iv anitbiotics as well....

for now, no food....water, juice, broth and feverfew tea....He should be out for a bit from the valerian

I cleaned and dressed Vincus' wounds once again.  The signs of infection have decreased, and there was no fever.  I did not confine him to the med wagon, but I did recommend light duty, and asked that he refrain from alcohol until he is re-evaluated.  I have also asked that he remain close to camp, as Muse had said earlier.

'smiles'   I removed Vincus's stitches, there is no sign of infection and He has good mobility in His shoulder and upper arm.   I have put Him on light duty for another day then after checking Him, He will be released to full duty.

~~~Posted for Mistress Sahara~~
someone stuck a kaiila in Vincus' wagon and it beat the tar outa Him before running away....and that I instructed Him He needed to go to the med wagon and wait to be seen.
aisling got Him into the wagon and kept Him company so He didnt sleep in case of concussion, she applied cold compresses over half an hour to the knot in His head and was pleased to see that it lessened signifcantly.  Unsure what else to do, aisling and chanz talked with Him to keep Him comfortable and entertained.
Also, unsure if she should post this here... that Kailla really wrecked His guest wagon, and thought it might be wise if someone got in there to tidy up before He returns and possibly trips causing further visits to the med wagon *chuckles*
