forgot to post this earlier this morning as I was tired on top of being tired...

Tended to a Warrior on the battlefield, he was clawing his way out from under three dead bodies that were on top of him... he had a barbed arrow in his right side, he had lost a lot of blood, but since I was limited on the things I could do, I did start an IV to get fluids into him, also added some pain medication and antibotics to the fluids, as I tended to the wound... cleaned it out and sutured it shut... it's bandaged and I have checked on him this morning when I got up, he's doing well and is still sleeping, comfortably...

Malefic was injuried during a commotion in the med wagon, she was poked with the feather shaft end of an arrow to the right shoulder, just under the collarbone, from a Warrior when he fell on her, I believe, but I cleaned it out, put a few stitches in and bandaged it up... second wound was a small flesh wound caused by a flying arrow, it only grazed her skin, I cleaned that out, put some salve on it and bandaged it... I didn't give her any restrictions as she wouldn't obey them anyway, not with all the things that need to be done in and around camp...

This morning I helped take care of a Warrior that was brought in early this morning with several arrow wounds to his legs, shoulder and upper arms... they were all cleaned out, either stitched or packed with gauze, and bandaged... he has been set up on an IV to get fluids into him from the blood loss and dehydration... he's been given pain medication every 4 ahn to keep him comfortable, along with a regime of antibotics to keep the likely hood of any infection taking hold as he was out on the battlefield for so long...

~looks over the log, rubbing her eyes as she fights off sleep, as she still has a lot to do and see to other Warriors still being brought into the wagons... she nods to herself and closes the log for now~

The last two days have been spent int eh Med wagon...basically performing sugeries on all the wounded.....this night I went and did personal checks on all of the Paitents....I also had chase unpack and bring out the meager bits of extra meds supplies I had stashed away for emergency use during Migration......

Then Malefic came in......and told Me that Rags and OE and Raz were MIA...and....even though She didn;t say it...She feared the worst....as She had foudn OE"s eye patch and Axe last night.......so We moutned up and Rode out to teh Battlefield.....spent a few hours combing it....and came up with nothign other than Raz's blade Samiel....and half of Rags shield.......I rode back home becasue after two days of no sleep and little food I was exhuasted....will pick up the search first thing in the morning after My duties in the Med  and Surg wagons are tended too.

Checked on Tegutai tonight, removed the stitches in his left forearm, his IV has been removed by one of the healers as instructed as he is now eating and drinking on his own... the stitches from the area from his shoulder blade to his shoulder on his back can be removed tomorrow, along with the stitches on his upper left arm... the sutures that I placed to close the slice at the bottom of his right rib cage can probably be removed the day after, as that was a deep wound and I had to use internal sutures to completely close it...

Tended to the Outrider that I treated out on the battlefield last night, his wound from the barbed arrow is starting to heal nicely, I will check on him again in the morning to change the bandage as well, and see if I can remove him from the IV and get him to drink a bit of broth and water for the first half of the day, then move on to more solid food...

~replaces the log where it belongs and trudges back to the surgical wagon and to the cot she has taken over so if she is needed during the night or early morning she can get to where she is needed quicker~

~starts writing in the log, wiping the sleep from her eyes~

Was woken up several times during the night and morning to tend to a few of the patients who were starting to show signs of infection, got them taken care of, cleaned the wounds from the puss and fluid, and then packed them with a bergament poultice to draw out the remaining infection...

Woken up again later this afternoon to see to another patient, this time it was the Outrider I had worked so hard to save his life out on the field, he has a fever and an infection in the site where the barbed arrow entered... I have removed the stitches, drained the puss and fluids out, cleaned the wound, packed it with the same poultice as I did with the others, and recovered it, as I didn't want anything else to enter the wound and cause it to get worse... I also had a tea made of arro, if he isn't able to drink it I have orders for it to be given through the IV, also started another regimine of antibotics to fight what's going on inside him...

~tiredly looks over the log and nods, closing it up and heading back to sleep~

~writing in the logs now that she finally has some sleep in her~

Brought Ubar back from the Plains early this morning, he's suffering from blood loss, and dehydration, so I have him hooked up to an IV, giving him plenty of fluids and started a regimen of antibotics to hopefully stave off any infection. He has a wound right over his right eye, a flap of skin was hanging down and his eye was sealed shut by dried blood, stitched it closed after cleaning everything out, including the blood that was sealing his eye shut, no damage to his eye...

The wound that Muse sewed up before he went back out to battle, was ripped open again, I removed all the remaining sutures, and cleaned the wound out resutured it and bandaged it up again...

Left upper arm has a stab wound to it, cleaned it out, stitched the inside and outside of it closed with bosk gut and silk thread, then bandaged it...

Had to remove a barbed arrow from his abdominal muscles, it was at an extreme angle and it took me awhile to get it out, but I did.. no major injury to anything around it, except the muscles around the barbed tip... stitched the muscles back together with bosk gut, several layers, then closed it with silk thread...

There was a festering wound over his left shoulder blade that made sure I drained all the puss and fluids out of that I could, then packed it with bergament poultice to draw out more of the infection that I know is deep down inside, covered it with a bandage, and laid out orders to have it checked every 4 ahns to replace the poultice and clean more of the infection out, if there were anymore puss or fluids...

There was a beautiful cut across the bridge of his nose that was stitched closed...

Various cuts, nicks and abrasions cover his body, the not so minor ones were cleaned and then coated with some honey salve to close them up, the others that were minor were cleaned and left to heal open...

There are also bruises everywhere as well, he is going to resemble a punching bag after he is fully cleaned and they start to color a bit more... the ones that were bad, she placed mud packs on them for a few ahns, they were removed after 3 ahns...

~looks over the list and adds one more thing~

He's hungry as a pack of sleens, so I have given orders for him to have some bosk stew when he asks for it...

~sets the pen down and goes to check on her patient~

One Eye came in with a punctured lung, broken ribs, lacerations to his neck and his body, he was coughing up blood, and his chest was rattling...

~just a note, I did things quickly as I was about to face plant on the keyboard~

Inserted a tube into his chest and worked on reinflating his lung, left the tube in, stitched the skin around the tube closed... applied moss paste to his broken ribs after I set them and then wrapped a bandage around his chest and back tightly to keep them in place, took care of the lacerations to his neck and the others over his body, and set him up on a regimen of IV antibotics and a sedative to keep him from thrashing around too much while his lung and ribs healed...

~signs off and passes out~

removed the remaining stitches from Tegutai, told him to take another day to rest.. all of his other wounds are healing as they should..

released a few of the injuried Warriors out of the wagon after removing their sutures, and giving them the same advice as I gave Tegutai.. the ones with infections are still in the med and surgical wagons but they are in higher spirits than they were this morning, with the news that Ubar and OE had been found and are alive, though injuried... though the men that were brought back that were in Raziel's command are still waiting for word on their Commander, though know that if the other two were found alive, he will as well...

Ubar was checked on this evening, the wound that was infected on his shoulder blade has been sutured and salved as the infection is now gone.. the rest of his wounds were checked, cleaned and rebandaged, the less severe wounds are healing nicely, he's still on the IV, but he is eating bosk stew and drinking plenty of water and juice.. am looking to remove the IV later on today if all seems to be going well...

Also checked on OE, even under the sedation he is restless, but I removed the chest tube and had orders laid out to make sure that the lung didn't collapse again, so far so good, but will be keeping a watch on that as his ribs heal... his color is starting to come back, and in a few days I will lower the sedation and see how he is truly fairing, as right now I am not able to tell with him in this state...

slaves have been working night and day to clean both wagons to eliminate the almost permanent smell that lingers in and around the wagons, seems what ever they are doing is doing the job as the smell has diminished.. as more and more injuried are released, it should diminish all together...

several healers have been taking off of duty for a day so they can get their rest and get food and drink into them as they dropped from exhaustion...

kelsey {Kit} returned to the inner circle of camp...she ahs been nin the outer Medical Wagons since the attack...she was restricted to her Mistress wagon to sleep for 24 hours due to exhaustion....

(sorry I have been absent, but the typist behind kels has been on a short LOA....figured this was the best way to bring kels back and explain her absence during this r/p)

Found Raziel in Kataii Territory...began medical treatment there..IV fluids started..listing of wounds as follows:

lance tip in left thigh, broken off a few inches above entry wound, tip exiting hamstring....lance gouge grazed inner right side...lump to the back right side of head, thus the contusion extending just past the hairline behind ear, the cause for the bloodied right corner of lips, the blood trail from ears and the busted cappillaries in eyes, giving the blood red surround of greens instead of whites, all from a kailla's skull in full charge, and a broken right arm from said kailla's right shoulder and a multitude of cuts and abrasions

treatements as follows:

right arm replinted and slung...right side wound washed out..minor infection seems to be beginning..agrimony and bluegrass salve applied and fresh bandage placed...moss paste/blue grass applied with a bandage to side of face and head to bring the swelling and bruising down and help withthe pain...the minor cuts and abrasions washed and treated with agrimony salve and bandaged..Phoenix removed the lance via surgery..stitched wound shut on both sides and bandaged...single broken rib wrapped..second bag of IV fluids given as well as IV antibiotics and small dose of pain killers so as not to induce shock or cause possible trauma with the seriousness of head wound..patient monitored constantly

assisted in cleaning Raz up after He had been brought in from the fields

a Warrior Who had been attacked at some point started having trouble breathing and speaking to His Woman. I did what I could to help Him in speaking as if I was Her so that His passing would be less stressful
