tended to aisling tonight...she twisted her ankle pretty bad..I wrapped it in a moss paste poultice and have ordered her restricted from serving for at elast a day...she is not to put any weight on the ankle and to keep it elevated.....I told her she may drive Sati's wagon....but that was it.

Oye, didn't write this down last night as I passed out quite literally.

Raid tonight, plenty injured, worst off that I tended was a Raider.  Mithras.

He had a sword thrust to his stomach, an arrow wound to his side near his kidneys, and an arrow wound to his right shoulder, which I did myself.  Kinda wish I hadn't shot him now!  Cayenne pepper salve was applied to the stomach wound so I could see what I was doing and to stop blood flow before using bosk gut thread to stitch him up, then silk thread on the outside, applied blue grass salve and bandaged that up.  Same with the side wound.  Cut out the barbed tip arrow to his right shoulder and stitched him up there too.  He lives, yay me!

Lil Man was also injured and I tended to him halfway, as he had a barbed arrow lodged into his ribs, and I wasn't sure how to get that out, Mithras ended up getting it for me before stitching Lil Man up.  He did good, and now I know how to do it if there ever should be a need.  There was also an arrow that went through LiL Man's cheek and out again beneath his ear.  The arrowhead and shaft were broken and the shaft slid through carefully before packing the wound and stitching him up.

Mithras and Lil Man are both comfortably resting within the medwagon with me watching over the two of them.

Ubar was injuried the night before, a quiva from one of the Kataii Warriors got him in the abdominal region, Amber was tending to him before he was brought to the med wagon, by Phoenix and Terran... Amber was called away to tend to another, and I took over and performed surgery on him... his stomach was nicked, all the water that he was drinkinig to replenish his body from the blood loss and thirst, leaked out into his abdominal cavity, along with other fluids and gasteric acids... I was able to stitch the stomach, closing off the leak, then cleaned out the cavity until the water that was being poured in came out clear, and getting all the fluids cleaned out, I stitched the wound back together...

He needs to have the bandage checked daily... he's on two IVs, one to replenish the fluids lost, and another that was set up to start a regimen of antibotics...

I was tended to this evening by Phoenix, last night a barbed arrow found it's way into my back right shoulder during the first or second volley of 1000 arrows shot by the Kataii Warriors when we were trying to take back our lands... I didn't notice it until the end of the battle, as I was making my way to the med wagon, I passed out due to pain and blood loss, maria tended to my wound while I was unconscious... but during my sleep as I wasn't moved from the wagon steps, as  there was no room in the med wagon, I pulled a few of the stitches out... Phoenix removed them and replaced them, salved and bandaged it...

I took an Arrow wound in the Left thigh and shoulder, in the thigh the arrow had gone through on the outter side of the thigh, missing the bone by an inch or so.  it was tended to the night before. as well as the shoulder. the shoulder wound was light, just the arrow head itself entered at the flat part near the top of the shoulder.

(if I don't make sense I'll try to clarify it when I've gotten sleep. lol)

lrts see..update on injuries missed..hmm..bolt in left thigh during the raid with Mithras...tended by..umm..crap can't remember who handled that one..I think it was Muse but not sure any more..but thathealed nicely..then got a few minor burns mainly dot like burns on the front side of body and burns to the hands fromt he fire..got some bandages and salve from an underhealer for those...during the kataii attack took an arrow in the left thigh (yeah I know what is it with My left thigh people? I got other body parts ya know)...that was tended by maria originally then an underhealer finished it up and gave IV fluids and blood transfusion via a dying Commander who volunteered..that injury is currently NOT healed and I am..semi reccuperating in My wagon...sort of

checked kadi's incision...it's healing nicely...she is still having a decent amount of pain (not surprising)...the lavinia tincture seems to be controlling it well enough though.....still, I have left orders for a sedative to help her sleep if needed...

I also got her up and helped her walk to the next cot and back....I don't think she will pestering anyone to let her out of the med wagon after she used up most of her energy getting to the next cot and back...I have advised her to take more walks (but not unless someone assists her) and take a couple more steps each time.....she should build her strength up fairly quickly.....

chanz got her to eat too.....she still ahs the iv for now....the antibiotics still being administered through it..

checked RAGNAR's wound tonight, it looks good and if things keep progressing as they should, the stitches should be removed either tomorrow or the next day...

Word has been sent from my Master that I am permitted to begin training as a healing slave.  delilah begs to be given Healing chores (rolling bandages, making tinctures, etc) as the free see fit! ~beaming brightly~
