Malefic and Megaera were both rescued from the river by myself after RAGNAR tried to extend his help by barbed arrow with a rope attached to it, it was a good idea, but found it's way into her left upper arm going through, by the time I got to Mal she wasn't breathing and the bleeding was down to a slow trickle due to the coldness of the waters and her prolonged exposure... got them both to the med wagon, another healer (NPC'd) took care of Meg as she herself worked on Mal, breathing for her until she started breathing on her own, she's on an IV, and there were hot water bottles placed at her neck, under her pits, and around her along with furs were wrapped around her, her wet and cold clothes were removed once she got placed onto the cot...

Meg was also suffering from hypothermia, she was warmed by the same method by another healer...

Taryn is collapsed from the cold of the water as well, she was warmed up and is still sleeping...

Phoenix was brought into the med wagon after the three were taken care of when he was found unconscious at the edge of the med wagon platform, he was suffering from the cold and what seems to be a boot in his mouth, they are still waiting for his muscles to relax to remove it...

while Phoenix was asleep two of the healers were able to remove the boot from his mouth, they still don't know who it belongs to and is sitting off to the side for one of the two who are resting to lay claim to the boot...

also her hands have been tended to last night, as the healer tending to her fell asleep before adding this note, she gathered that she had a rough time driving her wagon through the river of tears thanks to a split wheel, the reins cut into her leather gloves and through a few layers of skin as well, they have been salved and bandaged...

ashelia, the new girl in camp came to camp with a slice to her right thigh about one inch wide and two inches in length, the slice was caused by another female slave outside of Tuchuk.  Blue-grass agrimony was applied to the wound after I cleaned it out and checked it for infection.  Several silk thread stitches were placed to help the wound close.  Bandages were then wrapped around her thigh, she was instructed to have the bandages changed twice a day, to keep the bandages and stitches dry, and the stitches checked at least once a day, for two days, then the stitches will most likely come out.

Tended to my own hands this night and yesterday... there is a bit of redness at the edges, but it's due to how deep some of the wounds are... they cover the center of her palms and near the bottom of her fingers near her palm from the reins of the bosk teams...

Last night apparently wren was cut by one of the thralls while serving one of the men in camp... she didn't come to a healer until this evening... I have taken care of it, luckily it was only a small shallow cut, and having put green powder and agrimony salve on it and placed a bandage over it to protect it from the elements in camp, I have also not restricted her from any of her chores, or serving at the present time, as it wasn't that bad, but she has been told to have it checked by a healer or an apprentice twice a day to have it cleaned and rebandaged...

checked and redressed wrens cut to her leg, she was complaining it hurt, I applied some honey salve to keep it from reopening and placed another bandage over it.  One more day and she should be fine.

This eve, Mistress Shylina was kicked in the face by the bosk she was castrating.  After my Mistress had given her Lavenia for the pain, I cleaned the wound with saline and stitched the gash, applying six bosk gut stitches internally and seven silk stitches externally. I then smeared the area with Agrimony/Blue Grass Salve and applied a small bandage with Physician's tape.  Mistress Jo assisted and was present during the entire procedure.  I do not think the scar will be devistating.

Last evening, after the Warriors had a blood lust on a Turian caravan (ST was going in full tilt), we all went to were the masacre took place to check the wounded and loot the wagons. A wounded Turian managed to notch an arrow into Arlon's left shoulder. I removed the arrow, got the bleeding stopped with black pepper, cleaned it, sprinkled in green powder and got him back to the med wagon where I put in 5 stitches and applied healing salve before bandaging it.

Muse...in looting the wagons, I found what appeared to be their med wagon and had it brought back to camp. Within it, there was a couple of very nice metal surgical tables, salves, medicines, bandages, instruments and I found a very nice surgical kit that I thought you might wish to have. The looted med wagon is parked near the main med wagon.

tonight I checked on Arlon's arrow wound.. it's looking good, no signs of infection, and I am thinking that the sutures should be ready to come out in the next two days, if not earlier... I cleaned it out with antiseptic, then resalved it with agrimony/healing salve, then rebandaged it... also offered willow bark for any pain he might be experiencing, he turned it down, but it's still there if needed...

Tonight I removed the sutures from Arlon's shoulder.. the wound is healing very nicely, he will have a small scar, but unlike us women, men like scars... ~chuckles~ I coated the healing wound with agrimony/healing salve and left it uncovered so it could get some much needed fresh air... ~smiles~

I also removed the last of the sutures from Mal's arm.. Ubar did a wonderful job with that arrow shot ~ducks and laughs~ she has been cleared medically... ~smiles and giggles over her little meanness to almost let Muse clear her, but she has a soft spot for her and decided that she didn't want to let her suffer any more than she already has~

I am also using chamomile tea to help me sleep.. as the bratlings have become rather active in the last hand, and sleep has also been a little hard to find even when they aren't using her insides as a trampoline... ~grumbles~ I am still on half duty shifts in the med wagon, and probably will be cutting back as my pregnancy gets further along

Ragnar returned to camp this night and into the Med Wagon.....

he used his own "key" to open our locked medicine cabinets (i.e.axe)......I kept watch while he removed an arrow that was in his upper arm....the wound was festering (of course)....I managed to apply a poultice to draw the rest of the infection from the wound while Karanis applied some TLC and appropriate worry to her man.....*cough*

I didn;t get to finish because, well Ragnar was so enamored of his woman's beautiful words, he couldn;t wait to get back to Dragonslair for a tender loving reunion.....

btw, there is also a cabinet with an axe imbedded in it....I will talk to Furaan about repairs
