Amber was seen by me last night for bruising around her neck, a sore throat that bothered her when talking... seems she was attacked by a Raider that was faking being dead after the stampede the night before last, and tried to kill her by strangling her... I gave her willow bark tea, as there's really nothing we can do about the bruising, and I told her to not talk too much for the next few days, but if the pain was still bad in a day to come back and be looked at...

I tended to some injuries ariella had sustained during the stampede; they had apparently been treated by an NPC healer or she had treated them hereslf, as the slight laceration on her forehead (at least it looked slight last night after cleaning) had previously been dressed. I removed the old dressing, cleaned the wound and since it was nearly healed left it as it was to finish healing.

Treated Taryn to a small, but deep knick to her finger.  Apparently some glass broke in a crate and when she was sorting through the crate, it knicked her down to the muscle.  Applied agrimony salve after cleaning the small cut, put three whole beautiful stitches into it, then gave her a dainty bandage so she could still work without too much hinderance.

So that is why her hand is wrapped up to her shoulder and is as big around as my leg.

Good thing my Daughter applied a danty bandage.

A heavy duty one may have left us a mummy for a sister!!!

LOL

Last eve, a new slave named jaiden was collared to camp. I gave her the required dose of slavewine.

Tended to chanz this evening, seems her wrists are both raw and red, the left one had a bit of dried blood on it from the sirik she's wearing... I cleaned, sprinkled green powder, salved and bandaged them... she's on light duty, and would advise to have the sirik be removed until they are healed...

I removed the sutures from my finger this morning, they were bugging the heck out of me and well some of the skin was already healing over one of them, so I thought to save time and such I did them myself... and no I am not going to be rearranging crates, boxes or chests until after the babies are born by myself... nor will I be moving them...

Tended to Serinna after she took an arrow to her right forearm and a shield blow to her head during the Kataii raid tonight.  Determinedthat she didn't have a concussion, and told her to put cold compresses on the swollen and bruised side of her face since moss paste and mud isn't very fashionable on said face.  Cleaned and packed the arrow wound to her arm (she pulled the arrow out before I even got to her at the end of the raid).  She was told to have it changed twice a day and to take it easy for 4 days while the wound heals.

Also tended to numerous injuries to NPCs ranging from smoke inhallation, to burns, to quiva/arrow wounds after the raid.

checked Serinna's right forearm, removed the soiled bandage and dressing and added a bit of numbing salve around the area just to help with the pain a bit as I did press around the packed wound to check for any seepage... I had a slave bring her some willow bark tea, with orders to bring her more if she needs it and if her pain levels get too high I have orders to give her a small dosage of valerian, but I would like to hold off on using that on her unless it's really needed...

I also had a healer check the wound that she got when an arrow ran across her stomach last night during the raid... the wound is slightly red around the edges, but the healer thinks it's due to her swollen belly from being pregnant, but added more green powder and agrimony salve to the wound and rebandaged it.. I will have it checked again tomorrow.. as I don't want an infection, not now
