after going out to the territories right as night fell, my kaiila took a spill, tossing me from his back, though I got through that with minor scrapes and scratches, but as I took a slight detour to the ground when I found an overgrown sleen hole (I HATE that bot, btw).. my ankle took a nice little detour the other way when I went down... Latisha one of the healers who has worked with me before, took care of it for the night, and will recheck it tomorrow... I am to be off of it for the time being, until she can recheck it to make sure there isn't more damage..

Vala came in tonight, having had a little disagreement with a larl....she had a claw slash on her chest....there was no damage to the lung...just tissue and muscle damage.  I'm not a healer, but having done enough work on myself and other Raiders, I cleaned the wound with antiseptic....stitched both muscle and outer tissue....covered the wound with antibiotic salve and covered it.  She thankfully passed out from the pain....She had lost a lot of blood, so dakota gave her some willow bark tea when she came to.  I checked the baby as best I could, having only the knowledge of checking sleen mothers-to-be.  The babe seemed to not suffer any harm from the attack and was kicking strong.  I left her sleeping fitfully in the med wagon, under the supervision of one of the healing slave girls.
I am selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes. I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best...~~~Marilyn Monroe~~~

Apparently Vala busted some stitches on her chest.  I cleansed, restitched, blue grass and agrimony then a dose of healing salve and rebandaged with the strictest of orders that she is to remain in the med wagon till she can regain and build up some strength and blood.  Yes, she popped the stitches by leaving the med wagon and working.  Her baby is fine from what I could tell.  This was a day ago.  Just forgot to post.

RAGNAR returned a long range patrol injured (who knew)....there was a barbed arrow in hs side, which has been removed.....various cuts and bruises....one eye swollen shut...he is on an IV with antibiotics, valerian was administered before I tended his wounds....

I am spending the night in the medical chamber in DRAGONSLAIR to be near if needed.

two nights ago, aliah came into camp, she was complaining of dizziness and no memory of how she came to Tuchuk... I started treatment, but the night was growing short for me (my connection was just about out), and Arlon took over for me, along with collaring her to camp...

I will have him place his treatment here when I can catch up with him..

while out riding in the plains, I came upon a tabuk, after several tries and arrows I finally took him down.. in the process I got a few wounds, only one needed to be sutured, on my right inside thigh, it took 15 stitches, it has been bandaged... I will have it checked tomorrow and the stitches should be removed in 3 days..

a Warrior brought in his Woman after she slipped from their wagon steps, she broke her leg leg to the point that the two bones were laying over each other... After starting an IV, giving her a small amount of valerian to allow me to set the bones without much pain, but not to fully knock her out, I set the bones and splinted her left lower leg... in the morning I will check her leg again to see if surgery is going to be needed, but since there was a lot of swelling, I couldn't fully tell the extent of the damage, though there was a distal pulse in her foot after I set the bones... her Man is with her, and I have her area curtained off to give them privacy...

Dakota was brought in after having ice and snow fall on top of him while zylo was removing snow from Ubar's wagon roof, he is suffering from a strained inner thigh muscle, there is a bit of swelling and bruising, but I have wrapped his upper thigh from his hip to his knee with two herbal wraps... he is to stay in the med wagon tonight to rest, come tomorrow I will check his leg out again and determine if he can be allowed to leave the med wagon, and onto light duty, which he has been told means he can't do anything that will pull that muscle for the next few days, including, kneeling, or lifting heavy things or climbing..

Serinna's thrall, rett got smacked upside his head by a crate, the damage was severe, the flap of skin was folded back showing the white of his skull... after stopping the bleeding I was able to stitch it closed, he's on an IV, also being woken up every 30 ehn for the first 3 or 4 ahn, then afterwards he will be awakened every ahn to check on his status...
