I returned last night from the boat...errrr ship with 7 oar slaves....I have remained with them supervising their care....they are all in bad shape and it will be awhile before they are well enough to begin their duties as slaves of Tuchuk.

Ragnar has been found to be ....*insert drum roll*...sick.

He has a bit of the scurvy and is malnourished with a hint of concussion.

He has been "ordered" to rest for 2 days, ween himself from fish protein back to bosk and maintain a healthy intake of citrus, such as larma juice.

This was last night.

After fighting the Arians, there was nothing too horrible sustained by Tuchuk Warriors.  A few minor scrapes and bruises mostly.

Terran did suffer a cut to his side, and asked for a quick fix.  He ended up getting it cleaned, honey salved and bandaged quickly, and then sent on his way.

I know Titus received an arrow wound to one of his thighs.  He was taken to the medwagon by an NPC healer (and he went to bed before anything was posted) So assuming the NPC healer knew what she was doing he's been taken care of.  Three days for healing, bandages and packing checked twice a day.

Raziel also suffered a rather large, rather hard elbow to the right temple.  He said he was fine, and I let it go, but will watch him anyway, because I'm that sort of person.

Most like I siad, only suffered minor injuries, so only the worst of the worst remain in the medwagon.  All in all, I think those of Ar who may have survived, realize, they shouldn't mess with Tuchuk.  Even if we did start it.

Furaan.

Three broken ribs, I set two in place.  If there are fingerprint bruises there, not my fault.

The arrow hole in his calf was non threatening and stitched up with silk thread externally.  Green powder was used inside, bluegrass and agrimony outside and bandaged.

No duty for 3 - 5 days.

Lil's kailla knocked her from the saddle.  Because of the fall her left hip was dislocated, her knee and ankle sprained, her tibia and fibia were broken just above her ankle as well.

I administered valerian, and it should probably be given while Lil is in pain.  I popped her hip back into place, and then bandaged her knee, while Shoko realigned her tibia and fibia, and then she and Silent Breeze placed her leg in a splint and bandaged her ankle.

Treated a few people today.

Terran- Wounded Hand- the knuckles were very swolen and the hand bleeding. the hand was cleaned and honey salve applied to the cuts. one dislocated finger was put back into place on its own, and then the hand was wrapped up. if the swelling worsens then there will be added care.
-- there was a suggestion given to not fight for a day or two.

One of Terrans Men- Concussion- Treated a concussion that was caused by a punch to the head... it seems minor, so I gave a small doseage of willow bark to take the edge off of the pain, also I had a slave take some cool mud and apply it to the head.
--he should stay hydrated, and the slave was told to keep him still.

Liliac- Checked and wewrapped Lil's ankle and Knee... checked to make sure that the splint was still in place. everyting is looking much better, the swelling has gone down noticeably in the knee. and the ankle is looking much better, some of the minor brusing is clearing up.

yesterday i took sister chanz to the medical wagon and treated bruises and a dislodged shoulder, as well as a wound on her thigh. the wound was cleaned, salved and bandaged, the shoulder relodged to its proper place.
brother dakota took care of a thrall who was also injured, treating scratches, torn out hair and swollen private parts after a powerfull kick was recieved. the thrall recieved willowbark-tea to lessen the pain and a cold bota to help with the swelling.
sister chanz reported to me that she got into a fight with the thrall, after he had caught her and tried to mount her, smelling drunk with paga.

Tended to Lilac-

-Ankle- Lil's ankle is doing much better, I have left it unwrapped so that she may have some better mobility out of it.

-Knee- The knee is looking much better, all the swelling is gone, and all that is left is some slight discoloration from the brusing.

--Note: I had no idea how to check if a break is healing properly... so someone else will have to check that. the splint however has managed not to shift or get out of place.

Cleaned, scrubbed, salved and rebandaged Poppa's hand.  He seems to have full mobility of his fingers, so no tendons were injured the other night either.

Removed the stitches from Furaan's, and have him on a timeline of being able to return to duty in two more days, though with the stipulation of checking with Raziel first, as I wasn't there when this happened, and not fully sure what is going on with that... So I can return him to duty, from a healer's standpoint, but that is about it...

I'm gonna try this one more time ~grumps~

Ubar is in the med wagon. He was involved in a kaiila incident/accident
last night. He was thrown off. (I was not present when it occured so
details will need to be given by one who was.)

He sustained a broken nose and heavy bruising to His face and eyes.
Unfortunatly, a quiva in His sash punctured His abdomen as well. He was
taken to the med wagon and Havok (npc'd) took over and performed
surgery to close up His stomach and abdomen. I assisted. Havok also set
Ubar's nose, and inserted an IV.

Nex was also involved somehow, I'm not clear on that. She later was
attacked by a kaiila (who was underfed and liked how She smelled of
blood). Salem and dakota came to Her assist and She was freed. She
suffered some minor scratches and such. Once surgery on Ubar was
complete, I assisted Nex with cleaning the scratches and got Her
dressed in clothing that was not shredded. Nex was in a state of shock
over the incident with Ubar, and when I left the med wagon She was at
His side. Ubar was still not awake, and dakota was told to stay close
by to assist Nex since Havok told us She needed to have food and drink.

(my apologies if this rambles on too much, but I knew that it needed to
be logged)

Logged by Havok (NPC)

Ubar was brought in by Salem and his Men.
Retrieving the full story from some of those witnessing the events,
it appears as though the Ubara's kaiila was having a fit and
turned on her.  To save the Ubara from harm, the Ubar mounted
a kaiila and t-boned CHAOS.  Ubar was thrown.

Broken nose, massive bruising on his face, neck and chest.
His quiva punctured his abdominal wall and his stomach.  The
wound was flushed out and the stomach lining and pouch were sewn up.
Bleeders were clamped off and then sewn together as I sutured the wound
closed.  Agrimony and blue grass were applied to the site.  Ubar's nose
was re-set, and I recommended breathers be inserted to allow the Ubar to breathe
easier.

Nexhias was also brought in, and is in a state of shock.  She refuses
to leave Ubar's side and currently is kept warm and fluids and broth are
kept constantly flowing.  While I think this is something she will snap
out of soon, time will tell.

My apologies if I overstepped any boundaries in treating the Ubar.  No other
Healers were available.

End log.
Signed,
Havok

Last night I relieved Natalia (NPC) from duty.  She had fallen asleep, and was woken up by Shoko and dakota.  She refused to change Ubar's i.v. because her shift had been finished and she was no longer on duty.  When I got there, Shoko was trying to convince the Woman that the i.v. needed changed because Shoko wasn't sure how to.  I told Natalia that it doesn't matter whether she is on duty or not, she is to perform Healing.  She replied with her being a Surgeon in the future, that she would have consistent hours, and that if Ubar wanted special treatment from her, he would pay her specialty fees, a little hard considering he is unconscious.  I told her to get the hell out out of the Medical wagon before I  ended up collaring her for the attitude was definitely unbecoming of a Tuchuk FW and Healer on top of that.  I seriously hope she isn't going to become a surgeon, but that is besides the point.

Natalia didn't do anything on her shift for Ubar except peek at his bandages (not under them) to see any seepage (but again, didn't actually look at the wound) and scrub Ubars face trying to get the blood and grass stains from it.  And she left the bowl and nasty cloth right there.

Shoko had dakota get rid of the cloth and bowl while I went about cleaning out the nasal tubes so Poppa could breathe easier.  I also lifted up the bandages, checked for any kind of smell, bad seepage, or redness that might be caused by infection.  There was none, so I reapplied agrimony salve and rebandaged the incision site.  I also added an i.v. antibiotic just case there is a chance for infection.  Then I went to the back of the medwagon and settled down for my shift.
