Lost one during a lance removal from the chest.

Treated a tension pneumothorax.

A Non emergency tracheotomy

Crushed tibia with a replanation.  Usig the bar as a brace.  Experimental.  Maybe it will work, maybe not.  The only other alternative is amputation.

Was able to address a neck wound on a lad, amanda was pinching his artery closed with her fingers, so I got him into the medwagon, noticed he was going into shock. Sewed up the artery and his neck, before giving him a blood transfusion.  He is on i.v. antibiotics and saline solution.

Took care of a lad who had a lance wound under his arm, near the arm pit, severed the artery which was being held by a thrall, sewed it up, and he's on an IV, was given valerian and antibotics.

Another lad taken care of with a lance wound to his leg, just missed the profunda femoris artery, pulled the remains of the lance out of his leg, which were in splinters, then sewed up the wound, applying generous amounts of green powder, he also is on an IV, with antibotics, and was given a dose of valerian.

Then I worked on minor wounds, and helped keep some of the lads from escaping the med wagon as they thought they were able to go back to their own wagons, the only ones who stayed had concussions, which had to be watched over night, and more heavier wounds. The rest that had minor wounds had been sent off to get food and drink, non-alcoholic, or just sent to their parents wagons

did a through examination of risky tonight as shes been released from being staked in front of the commisary wagon...

shes got several injuries...

-two broken ribs (set and then wrapped)
-both kidneys are bruised
-hip is discloated (put back into place)
-various bruises
-a sprained ankle (wrapped)
-severe bruises to both thighs
-and possisably a fractured pelvis (im not totally sure with the amount of swelling in her hip region)

and I ordered that she do nothing more then hold a lamp with her un broken arm if needed (we took down all the hanging lamps cause of the hail storm) and she was to stay in the med wagon for at least a hand.

moss paste and willow bark tea will also be administered.

I am down with a concussion by four hail stones to my head... as well as two bruises arse cheeks... using what hail stones were left over as ice packs.. treated by Shoko...

Everyone has been transferred to the Surgical wagon, due to the roof cave in, bringing Wapike down with it and all the hail... He hurt himself, but went back out to help fight the fire in DRAGONSLAIR.. He's in the surgical wagon being cared for by NPC...

Wapike has a couple of broken ribs, one of which punctured his lung... Brunhilde has taken care of him.. (IE he was NPC'd)

Kang's leg set by myself and Mal... Mal sewed up the gash in his head, an IV has been started to return fluids into his system... as well as pain meds... leg is splinted

Sulu has a broken back.. there is swelling around his L4 and L5 vertebrea, no sensation when poked with the dull end of the needle on his toes or along his feet.. I have wrapped his back, adding moss paste to the area that is swollen... but the likely outcome is that he won't be walking again... I was helped by Raz, who I thank muchly for jump starting my memories...

Temudjin is in a coma, and not likely to return as he's got severe brain damage

Forgot to add earlier-

Took off the brace from Riskys arm... she still has three more days from today of being restricted to the med wagon...

she is to stay on the porch, she should get up and walk around some and strech out her arm and her hip

Gave Shoko a physical last night.  Promised not to make a medical log until she spoke to Terran.  She's about 8 hands along in a pregnancy.

Saw to Wapike tonight, removed the stitches from his ribs, sent him out onto light duty.  Walking patrols only, no riding, and certainly no Kaiila training for the next two days.

Tended to Wapike after that mish mash that poppa and him adn Czar had...

Wapike had three broken ribs... a collapsed lung, a broken nose, he coughing up blood but im hoping that was from the broken nose...

ribs were set, a chest tube sewn in and the nose set and bandaged. hes off duty and restricted to the med wagon untill further notice.

and Czar... well was a mess... he got a breathing tube... a bunch of stiches to a big gash on his head... his nose set and tubes in his nose cause its really swolen and blocking the airways, hes got a slave taking care of moss paste and cool mud packs... he took a narly knee to the boys, and hes had to have his leg set... hes had a compound fracture and after the split was put on the skin was sewn, the splint is on and all but the bangeages will ahve to be cut away where the stiches are so that they can be cared for.... I didnt give Czar any valerian cause I heard you cant give it to a councussion patient and im sure hes got one... but if needed orders are to restrain him if he tries to fight or return to duties

Czar is alos confined to the wagon untill further notice.

Most of the damage I saw, was from the shield.

yeah Raz... I though that poppa using a wooden sword was gonna be awesome... maybe a concussion at the most... but yeah Wapike and Czar were using real weapons.

-last night-

removed the tube from wapikes chest and stiched him up...

threatned Czar after I caught him trying to take out his own breathing tubes after waking up in the med wagon. but then seeing as he was confident he could breathe without them I removed them, and later removed the drainage tubes seeing as the swelling had gone down.

both men are awake alive and not really any worse for wear, they both have eaten and are being kept hydrated, wapike should be released tonight or tomorrow to his previous orders of walking patrols only, but czar will need a few more days for his leg to heal.

Took a look at Mal's busted up head last night. Heh.  She received a blow to the head from the hilt of a sword in Turia, she had bandaged it herself and cleaned it up as much as possible.  I recleaned it, added bluegrass salve and gave her a few stitches before bandaging it back up.  This injury will not keep her from any duty.
