NPC wise, did a lot of stitching, alot of cleaning, alot of being blood soaked. ((Too many injuries to list them all))

Also, checked on Malefics previous stitches, and added quite a bit more to her back and ass cheek when she was injured during the Kataii raid tonight.

night before last I checked on Czar. His leg is healing well.  He won't be back in until Tuesday, at which time the splint can be removed.  He needs to go through some PT for a couple days and then he can return to full duty.

After the splint come off he can do walking patrols.  you rather he wait a day or two before riding until we make sure his leg is back up to full strength.

Also stitched up Poppa's nose.  It was broken and split open across the bridge of it.  Took about ten stitches.  He also had a gash to his bicep and his abdomen which I also stitched up after cleaning them.  He also was repeating himself a lot and seemed disoriented.  Told him to drink lots of water to rehydrate, and also had him monitored for concussion before he kept repeating himself, and was giving orders to dead Warriors.

last night- did triage on the porch with the apprentices, while taking turns shooting any and all kaitti that approached the med wagon, also arranged a sweep team for the med wagon... four people who would sweep thougth the med wagon and take out any dead to be clamined by their family.

then got a few still able bodied men (mostly ones that had little wounds already tended) to do a sweep of the wagons each man with a two thrall strecher team to find any and all still wounded and bring them to the med wagons, then a second sweep would be done to gather the dead.

as soon as the alarm sounded I headed to the medical wagon, where I stayed through the raid and night tending to the wounded with the help of an apprentice who was with me all night... the first Outrider who came in had two arrows to his back, one tore his lower left lung, and the second one nicked his right kidney... working on one at a time, I removed the arrow to the lung, placed a chest tube in and then went in and sutured the lung with bosk gut thread, then stitched him up and moved onto the second arrow, which I cut down into the skin to his kidney, removing the arrow, I then quickly worked to repair the cut to his kidney and the renal artery that was also nicked, then that too was stitched up, he's on a IV, with antibotics as well as valerian as needed for pain...

A warrior was brought in with a compound fracture, with Boris' help, as well as the apprentice, we cleaned the wound before Boris and I set the bone, then I sutured the wound inside and out, then I wrapped and splinted the leg while Boris held the leg in one place... He is also on an IV with antibotics as well as valerian as needed for pain...

Then myself and the apprentice worked together through the night tending to those coming in wounded... Also got a message that the outer wagons are out of supplies, and most, if not all of the injured have been sent our way...

started an IV on RAGNAR as it seems he hasn't been able to keep anything down, including water, so I am hoping that the IV fluids will help rehydrate him and possibly allow him to be able to drink some water and possibly broth within the next day.. He also sneezed which caused the clot that had formed inside his nose to break loose, I placed two cotton swabs coated with agrimony salve to help moisturize his nose while it heals, and also to stop the bleeding... I also check his wounds on his upper right arm and abdomen, they look good, no infection setting in, and by the looks of things the stitches should be removed tomorrow, or else the skin will think it's apart of it and grow over them...

After returning from Turia, got Raziel immediately into the medwagon.

Injuries included, a broken left eye socket, two fingers broken on his left hand, extensive deep tissue bruising, sprains that I couldn't quite fixate on, due to him not being awake to tell me if stuff hurt and swelling.  Three ribs broken.

I realigned his left eye socket, and all he can really do is not get hit in the face any time soon.  Realigned the broken fingers and splinted them.  Moss paste was applied to help with the bruising.  Ribs were put back into place, and then wrapped to prevent shifting.

Removed Poppa's stitches to his bicep and abdomen.  The stitches to his nose should probably stay in one more day or so.  Also got him a mug of mead to help kill the remaining headache.  He claims the nausea is mostly gone and only comes and goes sporadically.  He was able to eat and drink without immediately expelling it at high velocity.

Three Warriors were brought in after the incident inside one of the larger warehouses... Shoko and Wapike took care of two of the Warriors, and Sarant, and when I was able to get to the injured, I took care of the Warrior with a quiva slice from his left eyebrow to his upper cheekbone.. The eye was too injured to be of any use as it was split open, so I removed the eye and stitched the lids shut, then stitched up the slice, green powder and agrimony salve was used, as the only pain medication on hand was willow bark, he was given that to chew and his eye the is injured is bandaged...

(okay I could have sworn I posted since 4-1-09 but will do so again ~confuzzlement~)

**a little late in posting, but as I said I did this before**

Tended to Kelsey 4 nights ago while at The Point, risky tripped her, and during the incident, Kelsey sprained her ankle... I looked it over, as she had already gotten moss paste to place on her swelling ankle, I was able to feel her ankle to see if there were any broken bones, and after my examination I concluded that it was only sprained, she was given willow bark to help with the pain, and I also had crutches delivered to her to use while she went into the trading post...

During our return trip from The Point to camp, we encountered the Kataii in an ambush that was set up by Raziel, I was called to one of the wagons to tend to Salem who had been hit by an incoming arrow, it had embedded itself into his pectoralis major muscle on his chest, it didn't embed too deep, but after I removed the arrow, I had to suture the muscle underneath with bosk gut thread, then coated the entire inside with green powder to prevent an infection that might want to take hold, then I went about stitching up the skin on the outside, I then coated the sutures as well as the skin surrounding the wound with agrimony salve and placed a bandage over the wound to keep it dry and clean... (yes, this was a NPC event as Salem is still on LOA)

After tending to Salem, the wounded from the battle started to arrive and I spent the rest of the night with Amber, Shoko and Kelsey tending to the wounded..

The following day I tended to our fallen warrior brothers, cleaning and making them presentable for their families to view them when we returned to camp, and then were sent off in a pyre...

I again was called upon to tend to Salem who was in a good amount of pain when he awoke, I removed the bandage, then proceeded to clean the stitches and such of the old salve that was still there, then I checked the temperature and color of the skin around the sutured wound, the color was good, no signs of redness and it was a normal temperature, no heat was felt, so I reapplied the agrimony salve and bandaged the wound once more, and repeated my orders that he wasn't to drink any alcohol, to fur (or anything of the like), or any duty until the wound was fully healed and he was cleared for such...

When we reached camp, I helped bring the injured warriors from one of the freight wagons we had turned into a temporary medical wagon, who couldn't return to their own wagons to be with their families, who could care for them while they healed, and also set up those warriors who didn't have families to watch over them.. There are 15 warriors who are still on IVs as their wounds are severe, and the remaining 45 are ones who are staying in the medical wagon for the next day or two to heal until they are released to return to their own wagons... The ones with their families gave their word to come to the medical wagon daily to have their wounds checked and cleaned...

Some of the medical supplies that we bought at The Point were brought into the medical wagon while I was on duty, from the night we returned to almost 2 ahn after the sun set last night, though I was not sure at the time where the supplies that we got from the Kataii went to, I did give my word to find them and take inventory of them..

Earlier tonight, Kelsey and I found the crates of supplies, between the two of us, we began going through them and writing down what was found... **will post the inventory list on the healer's board tomorrow and also on The Point - Supplies thread**

I also was able to check on Sarant'satrals broken ankle... the bones have mended and the splint is no longer needed.. but I have wrapped it to give it a bit of support while she gets used to using it again, with the help of a cane, and come tomorrow I will give her a list of exercises she needs to start doing to strengthen her leg and ankle...

Also released 15 warriors back to their wagons this afternoon, their wounds have healed, and they have been granted to return to light duty for the next two days, after which time one of the healers can determine if they are able to return to full duty.. the 3 most severely injured warriors have been downgraded from critical to stable, though they are still on IV fluids and antibotics for the next two days... the other 12 severely wounded warriors have been removed from their IVs and have been placed on a soft foods diet, with the okay to drink juices or milk, and they are to have a large glass of water or a bota of water near them at all times... the remaining warriors who were staying in the medical wagon because they had no family to care for them, have been released back to their own wagons, but are on orders of no alcohol, furring, or duty for another two days...

~end of report~

(this is the first healing ive done so far during this battle that hasent either been npc'd or been done to an npc)

Tended Raz's wounds, one to the sholder with the arrowhead still in it, one on the forarm that the arrow had been torn out, and a third that was on the thigh with the arrow head still in. all three were checked for signs of infection and cleaned and stiched and bandaged up.

another wound was discovered on the abdomen and cleaned and bandaged, stiching it will have to wait untill tomorrow.

Raz will be comming to the med wagon after his duties are complete enought for antoerh to cover for him, at that time he is ordered to be given water and broth, bread if he wishes it, and an antibiotics and saliene IV.

((hoping this is the right spot for it))

After the reecent battle when we scouted the battlefield for survivors. Cassius was found, badly injured. He recieved multiple flesh wounds all over his body, and one very significant wound. He was slumped forward with an arrow sticking out of his back.

I had tended the wounds to the best of my given ability's. Broke off the end of the arrow, and gauzed the more apparant wounds on his body. Took him back to camp with the other wounded.

Progress goes well with the more significant wound on his back. Though seems it had gotten infected, and should be finished draining by now. He is recovering but is very frustrated with being cooped up.

My own ankle is done the initial healing part. though I am careful as I build the strength back within the ankle.

that is all.

chanz was brought into the med wagon after apparently fainting or passing out on the med wagon porch after serving larma juice to Ubar and Shoko... a small cut along her hair line as well as a nice bump was found by Raziel... I ended up staying with her, when Raz went to his wagon to seek his rest... after she fully regained consciousness, it was found out that she has amnesia... I spent a good ahn going over what has happened to her since the last time she remembers which was when she was free... I have caught her up as much as I was able to do, including telling her her who Mistress was, and she went to sleep with checks every 30 ehns... I hope to see her talk with her again tonight, and see how she's fairing, and also see if she remembers anything of what I told her last night... she is to stay either inside the med wagon or out on the porch, until it's determined if she's well enough to return to her duties as a kajira

Shylina- ate some flowers, pink flowers, because the bosk did.

she was given a full bota of water which she drank so fast she promptly revisited the contents of her stomach, it was a better turn out then hoped for, she was not needed to be given anything to make her throw up, once she threw up she begain to shiver and sweat and such as the flowers left her system, she was put on an IV.

she ended up getting some little dots on her skin, they are like... mottled skin discolorations, and look as they will clear within a few days as soon as the toxins work their way out of her system, because of the itchyness of her skin and her urge to scrach she was sedated ((with something... I was too braindead to pick something last night)) and orders were given to make sure that she slept under a blanket to help her sweat this out.

a note was left for Kelsey, deeming it that Shy may need a mental health evaluation.
