...Izee', as a Panther Huntress, was wont to do things that only she understood. Her Lair Leader put up with most of her undertakings...Izee' was a skilled and superior Huntress...and her hobbies were usually harmless to the Lair, although difficult to understand. The Lair Leader was hard put to to just 'put up' when Izee' and her squad returned from a raid.

The supplies and slaves were welcome...but Izee' had also brought back a HUGE CHAIR!

The wooden chair had been made for a rich Torvie. In addition to the rare woods used, it was also trimmed with silver, gold, large gems, and luxurious cushions. The Lair Leader just shrugged, and Izee' had it placed near the central fire, where Izee' would sit at night...eating large roasted insects and drinking spring water...and joining in the conversations...and falling asleep in the chair.
However, once, when Izee' returned from a hunt...her chair was gone!!! Her sisters explained that men had stumbled onto the Lair, and the women had fled, taking only what they could carry...and the chair was just too heavy to carry away. The men had ransacked the Lair, and had taken the chair. Izee' got angry...she was very fond of the chair...and followed the men's tracks back to their village. It was a small village, and the structures were very rude, just wooden frames covered with dry grass. Izee' spotted her chair in one of the huts, and left to summon her Allies. Izee' had an understanding with a Tarnsman...the Lair provided his group with rare hides and raw gems they found...and the Tarnsmen gave the Panthers iron weapons, and wheels of cheese and bags of hard candies. She explained her problem to her friend, and he agreed to help. She climbed aboard his Tarn, sitting in front of him, and all of the Tarnsmen followed her directions to the village.

When they arrived, the Tarnsmen attacked the village, and the winds caused by the wings of their birds blew all of the grass from their structures...exposing Izee's chair. Everyone landed, and the Tarnsmen herded the villagers into a huddled group, and gathered valuables and slaves. Izee' selected two men, who had been in the raid on the Lair, to carry her chair back to the Lair, after which they would be sold as thralls.

One of them asked Izee', "Why did you attack us?" Izee' sniffed...and said...
"People, who live in grass houses, shouldn't stow thrones."
