The constable asks chauncy who he was yelling at. Chauncy says that chap back there with the hat, I wished him happy holidays and he did not even have the decency to say a word to me. The constable says that was a snowman and you are coming with me to your usual cell for the night.

Chauncy's wife comes in saying I think I am starting to feel the benefits of my morning jogs, it is good exercise. Chauncy says when a 90 year old with a cane passes you, that can hardly be called jogging.

It is raining particularly hard, the streets are flooded. The barkeep says not even chsuncy would venture out in this only to turn around and see a soaking wet chauncy enter the pub and say he had to swim to get there but he made it.
