Day Two of Migration: I re-greased the wagon wheels and axles, then redeemed my Master's rolls of canvass from the pile of goods that had been recovered from the bottom of the muddy hill. With the help of several (NPC) work thralls, the recovered goods were lashed to the sides of the wagons, where they had originally been. Unfortunately, the crates of spurs and bits I had also dicarded to lighten the wagon were not found in the salvage pile.
I then frantically dug the front wheels of my Master's wagon out of the mud and drove throughout the night, narrowly avoiding disaster when the fog rolled in and another wagon drove into mine. Though the front wheels of the two wagons locked together, I was able to steer free and continue on without further incident.
When the halt was called, the hired unScarred boys moved to tend the animals, ordering me off to sleep...

Day Three of Migration: Though the wagons did not roll, I found plenty to do. My Master's left front wagon wheel sustained enough damage to warrant replacing, which task was completed by Master Tegutai and a number of thralls. Under my direction, the thralls dragged a jack from my Master's largest freight wagon, and Master directed them to use the jack to hold the wagon platform while Master replaced the wagon wheel.
Master Tegutai then "conducted" me to sister chiana, where I awarded her with the senior mat tags she so rightfully earned!
Then I returned to my Master's wagon, where I greased the new wheel and checked and cleaned the brake lines...
Afterward, I bathed as well as I could from a barrel of water on my Master's wagon porch, and fell asleep on the porch when I was clean and feeling refreshed...
