funny thing is...there are so many kinds of slaves....
not all were genuinely cared about....well no more than the craptastic car that you would rely on to get to work and back. some what like kettle slaves, working in the kitchens....or field slaves.....needed, vital in their own way, tended to on the basic level...they were cared for only in the most minimal way, but cared
about? i wouldn't think so. more like a possesion you fuel and take minimum care of to ensure it remains functional. and of course, there is the human factor..well...seriously, in dealing with human beings...not everyone is going to care about everyone else.

now, for other slaves~ones not in the fields or even paga taverns, but personal slaves...wouldn't a Man be with in His rights to with hold the thoughts of caring about His slave, as He might with hold food, clothing...or anything really, as a form of discipline, or training, or simply because He wished to?
funny when you think of it like that. as a slave, we have no choice, no option but to give all to our owners, to be pleasing at all times. but as the Master, everything is His choice, we
have to show our natures, our thoughts...He, of course, has the choice.
so while it may appear to be a foolish thing, perhaps it isn't...after all, just because He doesn't admit to caring for His property...is no guarantee that He doesn't care for her. besides, weren't the love slaves held to the harshest, most demanding slavery?~chuckles~
