This Week's Gossip
Once more Diego and I enjoyed breakfast in bed last Sunday morning as we watched the Olympics on his huge flat panel TV set hung up there on the wall. Boy those swimsuits, gym gear, and track outfits even the guys wear these days are tiny, just in case you hadn't noticed what your better half might be watching.
Do you have any idea what the latest XXX movies on DVD look like on a screen that big? We watch Swingtown up there too on Friday nights. Sorry, my mind wandered there as I typed.
On Monday evening we headed over to the Meadows again to watch the New York Giants preseason game against the Cleveland Browns. Diego has slightly different reasons for enjoying football then I do. Sure, I enjoy the games, but boy those tight pants are worth the price of admission alone. More mind wandering!
There were serious brown outs around the city this week, one on Tuesday night that blocked out Rachel Taellio's play and another on Saturday night the shut down the Four Seasons for the evening. Not a good sign, in my humble opinon.
On Saturday night Diego took me over to watch the New York Jets beat our New York Giants 10-7 in their preseason head to head contest. Both teams looked a little sloppy in what should be their opening day game's rehearsal and the Giants may have lost the services of their top defensive end, Osi Umenyiora, at least for a few weeks. Favre and Manning both looked okay, but neither were able to score. You know me, scoring is important!
Diego said that Ben Bravio spent the entire day on Saturday trying to fix a problem in those luxury suites they are finishing up at the new Yankee Stadium. With the Four closed up Saturday night where will Ben spend the evening with Madison Cirillo? Are they sleeping together again? Stay tuned!
