~smiles sweetly~ My darling and sweet Brother, it is a well known fact that the Chargers will take the Steelers down.. Because my boys are ready and willing to go all the way.. So I have no need to worry.. Even with LT out, we have Darren Sproles, Antonio Gates and Chris Chambers... and last but not least, we have Philip Rivers.. 'nough said.. ~walks off whistling with my Chargers monkey~

-smirks- ... ok remember one thing before i go onto my rant... please do this I AM A COWBOYS FAN

ok.. Sproles? can you really fathom... imagin, whatever you will this 5 ft 6 150 plus dripping wet running back doing anything against the Steel Curtain defense that the Steelers have that is led by one of the greatest defensive Coordinators in the game.. Dick Lebeau?

... Antonio Gates? argueably one of if not the best tight end in the game who plays off of a miss match... against One of the best linebacker corps in the game mismatch handled...

Chris Chambers?? a former dolphins player this is the first time ive heard of him... hmm not good odds

Philip Rivers... .... Good QB though still outshined by another qb that plays in New Orleans Now....this weekend he is going against a very good secondary. Lead by the ever great #43 (not to mention That He Has the heart of a few hall of famers fromt he 70's that dawned the Black and yellow when he hits you and turns you into a retard........ this is the same secondary that handled a certain offense and there recievers... with ease.. ease i tell you... the Cowboys... they have a tight end who has rivaled Gates... Witten.. ever heard of him.... Not to mention the recievers the cowboys have... TO? Roy Williams... and the QB of the Cowboys.. Romo..((who by the way makes it to Probowls)) the Steelers D made him look like a little kid learning to play football and I just listed all of his weapons to you.. so how in the Hoolies would Mr Rivers ever have a chance against the vaunted Steelers D....

Finally.. I wonder what temperature it will be in Pitt this weekend? I wonder what the weather will be like... Not sunny and 70 I am sure... more like below 30 and rainy snowy, icey.... why does this matter You ask... one reason... those conditions all point straight to a running game.. and a back that can take a beating... who can carry the ball 25 plus times in a game and look good doing it.... so i say this to you... LT not in the game that gives the Steelers D ample time to prepare for the Mighty Midget... So im thinking not so good for the Chargers...

but in all fairness Good Luck to the Chargers... they will need it...

Okay granted, Chargers come from sunny Southern California... but one thing you might not know... for the last two games at home, in San Diego, it's been in the lower 50s to the mid 40s during each game... Temperature will have no issue for my boys...

This game is going to be as good as last weeks against the Colts.. I will be the first one to say this, all the teams on the AFC side have shown that it's going to be a long trek to Feb 1 and Tampa Bay...

I wish the Steelers luck, for they are going to need it...

There is a big difference from Lower 50's high 40's... to 30 degrees and lower.  It makes a huge difference to the body as well.  I don't know how windy it gets in San Diego, but I know it gets pretty windy in Pittsburgh, then.. it could snow, or sleet.  Which is completely different than rain.  I wouldn't be so sure Taryn, that your "boys" can handle all of that, and still get through the steel curtain.  But alas, we shall see Sunday.  I don't have a terrible towel... so I'll just swing and wave my baby around.  He bleeds black and yellow.

wow.... you guys took this all a little far...

-shrugs- I just thought that little Jullian would look cute in a black and silver raiders uniform, doubly so because its a west coast team, and triply cause its his poppas fave team... I didnt know it would turn into all this...

also a fyi... looks like gates is gonna join LT on the sidelines... seems that gates hasent been yet cleared to play

don't worry Shoko... *g*

All's fair in love, war and football...

It isn't as insanity driven as it looks.. Send da bubby a Raiders uniform.. I happen to like the Raiders too.. and I am a DIE HARD Broncos fan.. Rags knows this and loves me anyway. .I just happen to think that Troy Polamalu is the cutest thing since.. well.. um... well.. since a LOT of things.. LOL  I just like to watch that man in action.  He's my BOYFRIEND *said with a loving sigh*

We all root for our fave teams fiercely and we love each other just as fiercely.

ive been a hardcore football fan since i was born.. but you all are family... a little heated rivalry doesnt take the place of how you all are family.. so as long as it is an honorable and hard fought good sportsmanship game im great....

~smiles warmly~ Actually considering how and whom I was raised around, this is nothing... Football is the only sport I can feel this way, as I hate most other sports ~chuckles~ This happens once in awhile and I will be honest, the last time my boys were up against the Steelers, I seriously thought the season was over...

As for Antonio Gates, he's still up to play... He played last week with a "strained upper ankle" injury and did very well... And he has been practicing.. and yes, I have checked their website as well as the NFL site which I am trying to win the Playoff Fantasy Game to get tickets to Florida for the Super Bowl... Nothing up there is being said he's out and hasn't been released to return to the game, in fact, he has been practicing with the team this week... ~smiles~

Again I will say thank you to my family for allowing me to show how spirited and adamant I can be for my favorite sport and team...

It's not over yet... Anyone remember the Heidi game?

Okay, well it's over... but it wasn't fully an asswhopping as it was before my boys got that last touchdown... There were many bad calls by the refs, on both sides.. Many that weren't called that should have been.. To be honest, they really need to go through the refs for these playoff games, as in the last two days have been not good with calls and such.. Blatant face mask on both the Chargers and Steelers sides that weren't called and the ref was right there staring at them being done... ~sighs~

Congratulations STEELERS... May you make it all the way, making raven stew next weekend... It was a good game and I will say this, my boys did hurt a lot without LT... but I am glad to see that Ben is well and oh boy does that boy have an arm... sheesh... ~smiles and heads off to relax~ and yes, I cried when I realized the game was over, but I did feel a bit of hope with that last touchdown...
