just a few things i found on web search the things we do have in camp

 Constipation,

"Take good clean figs, and stew them very slowly in olive oil until plump and tender, then add a little honey and a little lemon juice, and allow the syrup to boil thick.
Remarks.--Keep this in a covered glass jar

 Constipation, Hot Water for

"A cup of hot water, as hot as one can drink it, a half an hour before breakfast." The hot water thoroughly rinses the stomach and helps the bowels to carry off all the impurities.

 Biliousness, Salt Lemonade for

"Hot salt lemonade night and morning. Juice of one lemon and teaspoonful salt to as much hot water as you can drink."

Blisters

    * For a severe blister, take cabbage leaves, soften them by putting in warm water, take out the stems and apply warm over the blister. If cabbage leaves are not at hand, dress the blister with bread and milk poultice.

Bruises

    * If a severe bruise, as from the blow of a hammer or a horse stepping on the foot, as soon as possible put the bruised part in cold water, notwithstanding it will cause an increase of pain. Keep it in the water for 5 or 10 minutes, then take it out, dry and put on freely any mild liniment for the same length of time. After a few minutes place it again in the water and repeat the application of liniment. The same treatment may be repeated 3 or 4 times during the first day; afterwards apply the liniment only. If the bruise is large and upon such parts as cannot be put into cold water, let cloths be wrung out of cold water and laid upon it, and from time to time apply freely a mild liniment.

Burns

    * For pain following burns and scalds nothing gives greater relief than the application of cold sweet milk. This may be applied on a cloth frequently changed, when possible, by immersing the injured surface in a vessel containing the milk. The application should be continued until there is freedom from pain, and followed by dressings of some mild, soothing antiseptic.

Chill

    * Immediate relief by surrounding the person with hot water bottles and giving internally from 1 to 2 ounces of Whiskey.(paga) Rectal injection of hot salt solution – 2 teaspoonfuls of salt to 2 quarts of water.

Sore Throat

    * Sage Tea, very strong..............1/2 pint
      Strained Honey......................2 tablespoonfuls
      Common Salt........................2 tablespoonfuls
      Strong Vinegar......................2 tablespoonfuls

Mix, strain, and gargle the throat from four to a dozen times daily, according to the severity of the condition.
May love and laughter light your days..And warm your heart and home..May good and faithful friends be yours..Wherever you may roam..May peace and joy bless your world.. And may all life's passing seasons..Bring the best to you and yours..

Cures for constipation are great...got any ideas for giving it to someone ? The hard gas might keep Ubar from farting for fear of crapping his pants.

hot water in the am really works.   My grandmother did it every am for years and never had a problem.
This is SB or Silent Breeze  for some reason I am registered under this name from before.  DOH
